Mama Africa’s Cafe has incredibly flavorful and rich food. I went for a birthday celebration and our group of 5 ordered the Mama Africa’s special. We all walked away so stuffed! The variations in tastes, preparation, and spices were outstanding. This has become a go-to spot for Ethiopian and good conversations.

The service was amazing, the food was delicious. The sauce for the doro wat was nice and spicy, the kitfo was delicious and plentiful, and we did get an Ethiopian tea and it was tasty and aromatic as well.

Excellent food. The staff is very friendly, and you can tell they take great care in preparing the meal. Everything was delicious, including the pastries and espresso. We’ll definitely be back for more.

This is a wonderful restaurant! The food is so delicious and the owners are amazingly nice people who take great care of you! The sambusas are phenomenal appetizers and the lamb tibs is such a great meal – incredibly tasty and filling!

Absolutely incredible, my boyfriend and I have gone here about 6 times so far, we are both picky eaters so it’s hard for us to find food that we consistently love. But this place just blows everywhere else out if the water! They remember our allergies and how we like to have our food plated, they go above and beyond every time. sambusas are awesome, the lamb is the best, and they have great coffee. The only thing we haven’t tried are the sweets, but I bet they’re great too! If you’re thinking of supporting a small local business, please try this place out!

Daughter and myself took my granddaughter here to introduce her to one our favorite ethnic foods ever. The food!!!!!…. was out of this world Fabulous!!!! And to top off our amazing experience here for our first (and definitely not our last) visit, the owners are so incredibly kind and attentive…grand baby was a bit hesitant to try more then a couple of bites so they made her scrambled eggs instead.

The food was very good and the guy that served us was very nice and understanding as we tried to figure out what we wanted. He gave us advice and warned us about the spice. We’ll be back to try even more adventurous dishes!
