finally got to try Mallo’s! first off, gorgeous spot and great vibes. the food was even better than i could have imagined. i got the roast turkey sandwich and it was exquisite. house made bread, fresh and vibrant ingredients, generous portions, the house made ribbon cut chips are addictive and even the pickle was like a crisp summer day. can’t wait to go back, thank you so much

Amazing lunch spot in the heart of downtown troy. The owner is super nice guy and you can tell he puts his heart into everything he creates in the kitchen. I had the Turkey Sandwich which was phenomenal, with a nice crunch of pickled onion and savory bread. I also ordered the chips which are fried on the spot and super crispy and thin. My friend ordered a special of the day fried chicken sandwich and loved it as well. Hits the spot!! Gotta check it out!

Excellent food. Sandwiches are delicious, don’t sleep on the Mac salad or the pickled onion rings!! Dessert are fantastic as well- nearly finished my tiramisu before my sandwich. Good delis are hard to come by these days and Mallo’s is aces.

Absolutely real food made with real love. Fresh ingredients and awesome vibes.. bread had perfect crust an softness, had the fried chicken sandwich and turkey sandwich. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly served with a ramp tzaskiki sauce that was savory but cool an refreshing and jus the right amount of seasoning, I worked as a chef many years before becoming a glassblower and to have access to these flavors at this low of a price is insane. 12/10 all day.

It was great! I got two sandwiches, the roast beef and the Italian both were delicious. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quick lunch and you’re in the Downtown area.
