I really loved dinner at Maleza. When they first opened we had a group of 7 and everything was great. The new menu is delicious. Highly recommend the steak aguachille and the rib eye. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Added a side of rice and beans to our entree. Everything we had was delicious. The oysters were so good. I hope they do $1 oysters for happy hour one day! The staff is really nice and accommodating. The bar was incredible so many great mezcal’s to choose from. Thank you James!

As a PS local, I couldn’t be happier that Maleza and the Drift Hotel are now a part of the city. My fiancé and I come to Maleza 1-3x per week because it’s our new favorite spot and it’s just that good. The staff are warm and welcoming and Chef Ysaac absolutely crushed the entire menu. You can’t go wrong for breakfast, brunch or dinner. Cocktails are amazing too with plenty of NA options.

Wow! the food here is something else. The food is 5 star all day. Really interesting menu as well. The cocktails were also very intriguing and mostly well crafted. We started with the oysters on the half shell. The jalepeno mignonette was incredible especially when paired with the fresh shaved horseradish. Very delicious bite! Then we moved onto the tomato salad with burrata. What an amazing dish! The chorizo aioli is so good when you get the creamy cheese, the fresh tomato and this amazing aioli. So good. We finished up with the steak aguachile. The Mex-Asia fusion in this dish is so well balanced with the crunchy freshness of the house pickles/radishes and the balanced tanginess of the soy based sauce. Very well thought out and out together. They have a few things to iron out service wise, but they were friendly for sure! Highly recommended for the food. Pro tip, valet parking is $10 so park across the street in the Palm Springs parking garage and save your $$$.

Not a culinary expert, but I think I know good food and service and this has both. Everyone working there had positive energy. Ambiance was nice both inside and out. Love the checkered tables.

1 had the pleasure of dining at Maleza inside the newly opened restaurant at Drift Hotel in Palm Springs. The food was absolutely phenomenal! The menu offered an elevated Mexican cuisine that was full of flavor and creativity. I had the Chilaquiles and they were delicious! The atmosphere and staff was open and friendly. The space was designed with great attention to detail and featured pieces by local furniture designers like WAKA WAKA. I was very impressed with the restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience in the desert.

All I can say is YUM! The dinner is absolutely delicious and there wasn’t one thing we tried that we didn’t like. My husband said the oysters were some of the best of the desert and a very fun twist. I loved the corn esquites on bone marrow and the churros at the end are a must!

The food and ambiance at Maleza was just amazing. Walking in from the sidewalk, you’re immediately welcomed into a warm, open atmosphere, tastefully designed with mid-century modern furnishings. We were seated with a great view of the mountain range backing the hotel and the beautiful pool side where we enjoyed the sunset. We ordered a few small plates and a large plate. Every dish was amazing and reminded me of the earthy flavors of Baja where the basic ingredients just blend together to create a medley. The Grilled Corn Esquites nested a delicate mix of queso fresco, corn, jalapeno on top of a rich bone marrow creating a balance that went perfect on the sourdough bread. The seafood served that evening tasted as if it was just caught off the coast of Baja. Can’t wait to return again. Thank you Jorge and team for such a great evening.

Yum!! I’d never had bone marrow before, it came with smoky sourdough bread…unbelievably good. Daniel the bartender was super friendly and made a swizzle drink that made me smile for the next half hour. I love Mexican food, and this was like a brand-new experience.

ugh! i wanted to like this place! all of our food came out at drastically different times, we were supposed to have an appetizer that never showed so we inquired about it after dinner and said we didn’t need it now, then they inexplicably brought it out . there was a hair underneath my second taco that came out freezing cold- the server did nothing, we grabbed another server to get him to take it back. one of us asked for a burger rare (they asked how they’d like it) and it came out well done. for the price i’d say skip. photos to corroborate lol
