a family favorite for dine in or to go. there can be a wait when they’re short staffed and full but once seated the food comes out quickly and service is generally great.

The food here is phenomenally excellent! It’sa some, no frills restaurant and it was so cols inside, I had to keep my coat on. But, the food was very authentic Sichuan cuisine! Loved the Crispy, Spicy chicken, the Cumin Beef and the succulent appetizer Oil Dumplings.

My favorite Sichuan Chinese restaurant chain in all of Houston. You can’t get better authentic recipes that feel like good home cooking. Be aware, you should have some spice tolerance for most dishes. But it is SOOOO worth it. Definitely try the in-house Plum Juice to cool down. It blends so well with the flavor profile of most dishes served there. I highly recommend trying the Crispy Basil Chicken, Black Pepper Beef, Red Oil Dumplings, and my absolute favorite: Water Boiled Fish Fillet. Strange name, I know, but it is absolutely divine ✨

FANTASTIC FOOD. Some of the best Chinese food I’ve eaten – food is served in just a few minutes and the waiters are very nice. Prices average around $15. Would absolutely recommend if you are in the area. Would give 6 stars if possible lol.

So we came by here after having had a great meal at another one of their locations in Montrose. It was absolutely amazing. The dishes are authentic, the flavor is amazing. If you have never had true Sichuan food with actual Sichuan peppercorns, it’s an amazing experience. The food this time around was not as spicy as it was the first time we had it but it was still amazing. I had the Cumin Lamb at the Montrose location, and Dry Pot Beef here. They are so delicious, their chili oil is fantastic. They serve the dishes so they can be shared, they give you as much rice as you need. The aromatics are cooked to perfection, not over cooked, they still had their flavor when they were served. I don’t know what else to say but TRY IT! IT’S GREAT! I will be heading back here many many times this year.

The atmosphere was very reminiscent of our time living in China. Great menu options. Kiddos loved the brown sugar rice cakes & chow mein. The salt & pepper prawns were delicious! Quick service on an afternoon that wasn’t too busy.

Authentic Sichuan food that is flavored in all the right ways. Nothing was too overly spicy and nothing was bland. The mapo tofu is probably the best in town I’ve had. The black pepper beef and finger licking fragrant wings are a must try. Can’t wait to come back and try other items on the menu. Service was great as well.

Came for lunch with a friend who wanted to introduce me to a variety of flavors. We had quite a feast and took much of it home for a second meal. I didn’t find the spice to be too strong. My favorites were the eggplant and beef dishes and the lo mein noodles.

We ordered take out and the food was very bland. We ordered fried rice and dumplings and we felt there was no flavor and it was just waste of money. RAKI restaurant or courtyard next door is way better than this one…
