Staff is rude . I was charged extra for noodles but never given the rice that comes with the dish originally. However, I did not realize it until I got home. If I have to pay for both. I expect both. That’s my one and only experience.

Where do I start . If I could give them 0 stars I would for their food and customer service . I ordered beef and broccoli with fried rice . The beef tasted uncooked the broccoli was hard as a brick and the gravy for my husbands shrimp egg fou young was tasteless. I went back to ask if I could get something else and the lady stated that she would not give me another dish unless I paid half price . She also stated that I had ate half the food . Which was a lie because they didn’t give me a lot to begin with and I only tasted one piece of beef . Which is how I knew it didn’t taste good .Just distasteful I will definitely not be back this was my first and last time .

Previous visits the food have been good. I was very disappointed this time. The shrimp lo mein and shrimp egg foo yung was so greasy I couldn’t eat it and threw it away.

The sesame chicken tastes like you just ate food off grandma’s dentures. The pork fried rice was mediocre but not bad. The wonton soup broth is like someone that’s taste blind took a wild guess but was concerned about blood pressure. It was essentially water soup. The wonton themselves were good. The pepper steak was also severely lack luster. To be honest the meat tasted like it was sterilized. Not even sure it was beef. The egg drop soup was very thick and also flavorless. The eggs in it tasted like they were old. The egg rolls have shrimp in them so beware if you have an allergy. Told they were good though.

With a steady stream of customers and fixed basic choices, it’s not a restaurant, per se. It’s a roadside stand. Which is just fine with me.

My little sister spoiled me with getting the House Pancit from here. I never had it before but I doubt I’ll try it elsewhere. Its so delicious and the curry coming through is wonderful.

This is the absolute best restaurant in the South Norfolk area. Everything I have ever gotten from here was AMAZING. The food is great the service is great and the wait time is so short you pretty much order, hang up, and get in your car. My family and I have been ordering from here for the better part of a decade. With the pandemic we were afraid that they would not open back up, we drove past a couple times a week in the hopes of getting our Mak’s fix. Tonight we got lucky they are open and running strong and we all have smiles and full stomachs.
