this will currently be my go to place for sushi! The yum yum roll is fantastic, all the sushi we had was very good. it’s no a large place and feels comfortable. What a hidden little gem it is. The hibachi food can use a little more flavor over all, do t be scarred to use a little more of the teriyaki sauce.

Oh my GOSH! Today was my second time at MACADO!! The TERIYAKI TOFU , AND,,, TERIYAKI CHICKEN was AWSOME!! Presentation of the food was SO pretty,,, The young waitress who took care of us was very attentive to us….. Will CERTAINLY be back!!!

Used to be pretty good. Better than ichiban in Springfield. The last three times has tasted terrible with this last time completely crossing the line. No one wanted to take leftovers home. Chewy meats and mushy veggies. Flavorless rice. What pushed me over the edge was warm dried out sushi that was wrong, that’s obviously been left out for hours because the crunchy bits were chewy like stale cereal. I gave that to the cats. I’ve never turned down sushi until then. If you don’t have it fresh, don’t sell your leftovers. I’m not going there again.

Went to lunch today on 5/20/23. I honestly didn’t expect the food to be good. I was really surprised and it tasted better than most of the Japanese food I’ve had in Nashville. Very affordable chicken hibachi with a ton of food. Waitress was SO SWEET!

As someone who has worked here for over a year, I absolutely love it here. We of course have our issues and problems but what restaurant doesn’t. My employers are the absolute best, the co workers are now like family. Please do not let a few bad reviews discourage you from trying us out, we truly are a hidden gem.

Waitress forgot one our order it’s cause she never written anything when she took our order. She never went to check on us if we needed anything, never refill our drinks. Overall it’s bad service but the food was great just the service. Talk about the restaurant is empty when we were the only ones there and still didn’t get a good service ♀️. Could you imagine when it’s crowded!!!!

Stopped in for a late lunch. Was greeted by Katie who was absolutely a breath of fresh air. Sweet, friendly, accommodating to all of my requests. Really rare to find servers that make you smile and do a great job. Food was very good! Got the eel & avacado, shrimp tempura rolls and also tried the kani salad and the harumaki. All delicious. Would definitely come back again.
