The food here exceeded my expectation, the price-to-food ratio is not so great but based on the location…I get it. I ordered a bowl that was already on the menu and it was so good I tried to replicate it at home but it was an epic fail. Everything in this dish worked together so well, I would eat it again but it would not be my first pick based on the price (the amount of food you get for the price).

Restaurant is very open seating wise, I felt exposed. Curry was extremely sweet, traditionally it would be made with coconut milk and I’m almost positive it was cows milk. Tempura green beans were basic, sauce had no flavor. It was more expensive than I care for for what I received.

One of the worst steak hibachi bowls ever. Literally no seasoning at all. Most bland bowl I’ve ever had, and teriyaki sauce wasn’t great either. California roll said crab salad, not crab stick. Huge difference in texture and taste. Was overall disappointing.

Been coming to Maki Fresh since when they opened — it’s one of our favorite Asian-fusion carryout spots. Skip the burgers and stuff; you’re here for one reason only: crispy brussels bowl. Those brussels are so delightfully fried, the rice is soft and fluffy, tender chicken, and sweet, teriyaki-ish sauce. Grab one of our favorite appetizers too: fried green beans or sweet potato tempura. Ask for an additional spicy maki sauce; the stuff is addictive. Enjoy!

First time visiting Maki Fresh was a success. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was a good price and it really did taste fresh. I’d highly recommend the brussel bowl with chicken. My wife got the tiger roll and enjoyed it.

I’ve been ordering Maki Fresh for over a year with absolutely zero problems. Since they have began the online ordering service, I’ve had a few problems with the order being incorrect and being ready when I show up. My last order didn’t seem to have the normal serving size, skimped a little.Hopefully they will fix this in the near future.
