This is a proper old-school steak house joint. We have been going to Majors Steak House for many years. They always start you off with a bowl of pickles, pickled green tomatoes, and sauerkraut. For appetizers, we had a shrimp cocktail, which was perfectly cooked, and wedge salad with the house vinaigrette. Both delicious! For the entree, I had the Majors Steak, and my wife had a cheeseburger. Both had a beautiful char and tasted great! For dessert Mississippi mud pie and rice pudding. Both hit the spot! Sorry, I don’t have pictures of it all. We were hungry. Great place, reasonable prices!

Came here for my birthday dinner. We were tucked upstairs on the second floor at the end, which was perfect since we had young children with us. They could walk around and not bother anyone else. I wish the parking lot was a bit bigger and less tight. Service was good. Food was great. Value for it was good. No real complaints of any kind per say just wasn’t blown away to earn that fifth star. Would recommend and would return again

The restaurant looks fun like a neighborhood spot to hang. I didn’t like the food. I had to send my steak back. Someone need to tell the cook just because the steak is cooked on the outside doesn’t mean the steak is ready. Turn your flames down at let it cook everyone do not like bloody steaks. Our service was okay but he never came to check on us we had to flag him down every time. Don’t recommend.

Me and my son were craving steaks and gave this place a try. We were just blown away by this place with outstanding service and some real tasty cuts of steak. We started with caesar salad and it was a really a good fresh tasting salad. For our mains we went for a bigger cut of steak and got the porterhouse for 2. This steak was just amazing, the crunch of the char to the soft tender middle… this was that real textbook porterhouse steak. We really enjoyed the experience here and can’t wait to come back and try other cuts on the menu.

First time stopping in at Majors on a late Saturday night. Wanted to try more Mom&Pop style restaurants across Long Island. The atmosphere and old school decor was really nice, staff very friendly and welcoming. I believe the manager (was in a suit and tie) came over personally and asked us how everything was. Food was tasty, seasoned and cooked well. I loved my drink! Sadly my only complaint is I wish it was larger for $11. I could have drank it in one sip. Overall I’d come back.

I went here for my 45th Birthday hoping for a good steak… I order a ribeye steak medium well and get burnt from the outside and Slightly pink from the inside… I ask the manager why the steak is like this and he say” That’s our signature way of cooking on charcoal… I couldn’t eat it every disappointed .. never again and the burnt my broccoli ..I don’t recommend this place .

The manager and staff are extremely friendly. The food was better than expected considering that it is not a higher end steak house. You can barely tell the difference. Definitely a good meal.

Outstanding. From the greeting to “ come again “ it was terrific. The Major steak a 24 Oz ribeye was fantastic- cooked perfectly. The clams oreganata are the best I have ever eaten in forever. Get bread and eat that sauce. Lol. The waiter chris was very helpful polite and always around.
