Cozy, friendly place in a nice little town with a good breakfast selection (I was desperate for an American breakfast, complete with biscuits and gravy!). Prices slightly high (though I suppose that could be said for most places these days) and, though the waitress was very friendly and personable, the service was quite slow, despite very few customers. But we were on vacation and not in a hurry, so it didn’t bother us too much.

My friend and I had cheeseburgers. The meat was thick and the burger was good. The onion rings were good. The fries are homestyle. Coffee is a bottomless cup. Service was excellent. It has a small town atmosphere, a little noisy at lunch hour, but it’s a small building. The building has the old main street charm.

This was the first time I visited this little diner and the first time visiting the town due to a job I was doing there. It is a nice friendly diner there. The food was good and the price was not bad for what you get. I do recommend going to it. If I do get to stop back through there again. I will sure be eating here. Also, the sitting area is small inside so don’t expect to come in with big numbers of friends or family at one time. Which is the way I like it.

I went with a friend, in the evening, about an hour before closing time. The service was prompt and friendly. I had the beans and cornbread with onions on the side. The food was very good and did not taste like it was sitting around all day. The cornbread was even soft and had very good flavor. I am a connoisseur of beans and cornbread. I have been around a long time and if they were below average, I would sound the alarm. They also made fresh coffee for me. I am not sure if I will be in that town again, but if I am, I know where I will eat.
