Main Street Cafe, provided a wonderful experience. Placing an online order and driving an hour to pick it up was worth it. The staff’s warm and courteous approach added to the positive experience. The Country Breakfast was a hit with flavorful Ripe Plantains and delectable Rice and Beans. Sunny Side up Eggs and Steak were also top-notch. The Eggs with Sausage dish earned praise with the exception of the cheese. However, the Baleada with Everything fell a bit short due to unsatisfactory beans and overcooked steak.

First time at this cafe and gotta say I am impressed. My mom always goes here and said get the “Rancheros” with fried egg. The dish is chopped chorizo with jalapeños in hot sauce. The taste is a like sweet and tangy hot salsa for breakfast. My sides were yuca frites and tropical cheese which balances the flavor. The service was very polite and urgent with the food too. Went to eat breakfast.. I had the Main Street Cafe omelet and my wife ordered grilled chicken tacos, w/o sourcream topping. Delivery of the food was a bit slow even though the restaurant was nearly empty.

So inconsistent. Been eating in and getting take out for over a year and sometimes it’s great but the takeout seems to always have a problem. I sat for half an hour waiting for my ready order because they forgot about me. Whatever it’s busy. Today broke the camels back. I ordered chicken & shrimp and they literally didn’t give me chicken. Just like 8 shrimp with rice & beans for over $20. Ridiculous.
