Met family here. We each drove about 1-1/2 hours to see each other. Main Street Bar and Grill is a wonderful spot. We had the Cottage Pie. It was delicious. The location, atmosphere and staff were amazing. We will definitely be back❣️

Main street bar and grill is a fairly new place, the place is very tidy and nicely decorated. Parking is easy on the street or nearby. Our server was very friendly and we had excellent service. The food was very good and didn’t take too long to come out. It’s nice to have another place to go to. Will definitely go back and would recommend this place.

Let me tell you. This is by far one of the best restaurant experiences we have ever had. Great tasting mixed drinks, filling salads and the wings are Amazing! We had the sweet chili and we are hooked. The atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxed. Our waitress, Melanie, was the best. Her attention to our needs was great. Her sharing great information about the area was extremely helpful since we are new to South Boston. If you want a waitress who is awesome, food is awesome, and environment was awesome. Make sure this is one of your spots. Whether date night, get together, or others functions it is a perfect spot to enjoy.

This is the best hidden gem in South Boston! We drive from Danville just to eat here. Food is absolutely amazing! Beware of the housemate hotsauce, not for the faint of hearts, but sooooo worth the burn!

The food was pretty good, though the atmosphere is slightly awkward. Maybe that was just the night we went though. It was nearly empty and we felt as if anybody in the restaurant could hear us speaking at a normal volume if they wanted. The chef/owner was SUPER nice and spoke to us multiple times ensuring we were enjoying ourselves. Have been meaning to go back. Love to see the specials posted on Facebook! Wish they were on DoorDash honestly, I’d order way more often than I’d visit in person.

Very dark inside and outside too. From the street it looks empty. Simple white lights around the widows would help and bright umbrellas at outside tables once it gets cooler. The mushroom burger was delicious as well as the pasta benne with a side salad. We will go back.

I had dinner on Friday night and was greeted by a smiling member of the wait staff and promptly seated. I chose to go with a selection from the “Light Fare” section of the menu and ordered the New York Strip done medium. When my meal arrived, I was extremely pleased that the meat was done exactly to my specifications. The addition of the garlic potato “comfort food” rounded out a satisfying meal. My very-attentive server suggested the raspberry cheesecake for dessert which was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience.

Fantastic burgers, fries and cottage pie! My family enjoyed the ambiance and Melanie’s superb service. We skipped the apps, but onion petals and fried artichokes sound real good. The El Diablo is not for the faint of heart!
