My spouse and I are staying in the area for a couple of weeks to help care for a sick relative, and we stopped in so we could be someplace that isn’t a hospital. Y’all, the pizza is . The staff is great and attentive, the playlist was clearly made by a cool Millennial, and the food was excellent. I wish we lived in the area so we could come more often. I definitely recommend (especially the taco pizza!!).

By the slice or the full pie this place will surely deliver. Just off the main strip in downtown LS but walking distance after you’ve had a few around the corner. Super good menu with an assortment of Pies and Calzones plus Salads which I was even told the Greek Salad is killer. Solid drinks menu to go with whatever you’re in the mood for. Great staff that pump out the pizzas left and right in a nice old building that’s been here for years. Had myself of course the Mozzarella sticks and the delicious 9″ Maui Waui (there were no survivors)

First impression was the beautiful brick interior. Really warm environment. Meatball gluten-free pizza was very good and perfect for sharing with my wife. Only negative experience was the service. We waited to be seated and the server walked past us without saying anything. We seated ourselves. Waited several minutes before server eventually came by to bring menus.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this establishment, and I must say, their pepperoni pizza is undoubtedly one of the best I have ever had. The flavors were well-balanced and delicious, leaving me craving more long after the meal. The service was top-notch as well, with our server displaying a kind and attentive demeanor throughout the experience. Although her name was not disclosed, her blue baseball shirt made her easily recognizable.

Main Slice is a true gem of downtown Lee’s Summit. Everytime I’m there (which is fairly often, I must say) I am greeted or welcomed in, the staff is super friendly and can have pretty interesting conversations. The pizza is next level! A very unique crust, a little thicker than thin crust but a scrumptious amount of crust at the end of the slice. All the ingredients are fresh and smack your mouth into Flavortown, even if you aren’t expecting it. I ordered a Build Your Own, 9″ with sausage, jalapeños and green peppers for to go. Got home, opened that box and I couldn’t help but enjoy each slice they cut for me. Excellent place for kids (I don’t have any, but lots of families seem to love this joint), an excellent bar that always has cool people working behind it, and the atmosphere is great. All different kinds of music playing, for my music people out there, customers are all cool and aren’t rambunctious for you bar crawlers. A great place to let loose and watch the game after a rough day.

I’ve had the pizza here twice now and it’s just extremely average. The price is why it gets 1 star instead of 2-3. Crust is hard as a brick and there’s a lot of it for a thin crust pizza. Pretty bland flavor. Forgot a topping this round which isn’t a big deal if the missing topping wasn’t $3. Just go to Waldo’s/summit pizza if you’re going to pay this much for pizza.

My kids have always loved Main Slice but never prompted to write a review until now. Brought my daughter and several of her friends here for her birthday a couple weeks ago. The girls loved the giant pizzas loaded with toppings and my delicious salad could have fed 3 or me! Leftovers were definitely for lunch the next day. The server was very patient and accommodating waiting on a table of mostly tweens. Thanks you for helping to make her day special.
