Mai Thai is a hidden gem in the heart of Boston Post road in Orange. Visiting for the first time, I ordered almost all the popular dishes on the menu. My personal favorite was the crying tiger. The meat was cooked to perfection, soft and the dipping sauce elevates the taste of the beef. The also ordered Tomyum soup which did not meet my expectations. The soup is lacking the classic tamarind taste and a little kick of spice. Overall the food is good and the service is exceptional. Price is worth the amount of serving. Will comeback to try other dishes.

All of the food we got was delicious! I loved the carrot butterfly embellishment; it was a nice extra touch. I also enjoyed the Thai Pink Milk. The server and other staff were super friendly, attentive, and courteous. The restaurant was casual, family, but nice. I highly recommend this place!

First time trying here and the food is amazing! I was craving for mango sticky rice and this is the best place to get it. Their Pad Thai was so good and the Moo Ping was sooo juicy and tender.

Food of CT
We visited Mai Thai for dinner and tried a bunch of menu items, some of which were from their new ramen and Asian bistro menus, and others were from their classic Thai menu. The ramens were delicious, and we enjoyed getting to eat some food that you don’t see often on menus, like the Takoyaki and eggplant fries in the Chinese sauce. We loved the shrimp pad Thai, rangoons, crying tiger, and mango sticky rice for dessert! We were impressed by their variety of mocktails and thought the service was great. The dining room was pretty spacious, and they had some fun neon signs when you walk in. Great spot on the Boston Post Road!

This is an excellent example of a business that focuses on customer service and quality. I stopped here for dinner with my daughter and we were impressed with the food and the attention to detail that our very courteous waiter extended to us. They apparently took longer than was acceptable to serve our entree and we were very apologetically presented with a side that we had contemplated buying to go on the house, served with a humble bow. Ironically, we felt that the service time was perfectly fine but accepted the generous gift. We enjoyed the atmosphere as well and very good drinks. Had a great time and will be back God willing. My best wishes to the great team at this highly recommended restaurant.

Wow! What a magnificent experience this was. All the food was prepared with such precision and love. The flavors were unique and robust. The “It’s not an eggplant” dish was amazing. We’re also still thinking about the hot basil stir fry. Can’t wait to return!

We had so much fun at Mai Thai restaurant. Everyone is friendly. The food was amazing. I even ordered a crying tiger TWICE. Order that! You will never go wrong. I took some home. We are definitely coming back. I enjoyed their mocktails. Thank you for a great service.

Pleasant restaurant on Boston Post Road. Not super busy on a Labor Day weekend Saturday night… a backyard BBQ weekend traditionally, especially since the weather was beautiful. Food was good, I love the fact that they post levels of spicy with their dishes so you can enjoy dishes at your comfort level for spicy. Bar is disappointing… wine and beer and the choices are sparse for too… Still worth the effort and will be back
