Cute To Death
Delicious food, great service and they have added more items to the menu. They have a dessert menu now, which includes banana pudding and key lime pie. They also serve Burnt Ends and Philly Cheesesteak Subs. Great place for some good old BBQ.

This is by far some of the best BBQ we’ve had! We decided to have them cater for a graduation party and everyone couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it all was! We ordered: 1 case of chicken, 1lb of brisket, 2 butts of pulled pork, coleslaw, baked beans, Macaroni and cheese, bbq sauce, and a carrot cake! Everything was ready on time for pickup (wrapped nicely and freshly prepared), the owner triple checked the order with us to make sure nothing was forgotten, and everything was more than reasonably priced! The staff truly feels like an extension of your family from the moment you walk in the door. This is one of the main reasons we love to support local, family owned businesses! From the minute we were planning with Danny (the owner) he was upfront and honest with us about how much we truly needed and how to get the biggest bang for our buck. Honesty, integrity, and good food… I don’t think there’s anything better! We will definitely be using Mahon’s again in the future for catering.

Really good food. Ribs were really tasty but could’ve used a bit more time in the smoker. Pulled pork was amazing!! Not too fatty not too dry…perfect! Cole slaw excellent as well. Fast service and they were really careful with the packaging for take out. Worth a try!

This place has very good BBQ! The service is very fast and friendly plus it’s a local family owned and run restaurant. For those that don’t have much money to spend the even have an excellent $5 dinner that will leave you feeling full and satisfied.

This was my wife and I first and I must say, they did not let us down. Being from Alabama, I have a great taste for BBQ and smoked meat, this location has a combination of great food, deals for families and desserts that look home made. The one thing (small thing) is the environment. It could use a refreshing but not so much that it loses its charm. Easy 9.5 out of 10

I died and gone to barbecue heaven stopping here for the first time, and it is not going to be my last. Nowhere can you beat that $5 dinner that is incredible I am so glad I treated myself today. I haven’t felt this good for eating food in a long time I don’t like fast food or the Big chain food places at all I prefer the mom and Pa places like here, thank you and I’m so grateful beyond measure.

A hidden gem of Groveland Florida. This is a small unassuming BBQ diner with 4 small tables and country decor. The staff was friendly and attentive , and the BBQ pitmaster came by to check on us and made sure we were absolutely satisfied! I highly recommend the BBQ burnt ends – small delicious cubes smothered in sweet and tangy sauce. My friend had the large rib dinner and it was wonderful! Highly recommend but come early before the lunch rush!

This is one of the coolest hole in the wall BBQ restaurants I’ve ever visited. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the prices are so low that it’s unbelievable. The quality of the food is second to none and they actually give back to the community by giving away chicken for FREE every Sunday from 6pm to close. My husband and I have stopped in a couple of times to get the $5 meal. for $5 you get a nice piece of chicken and two sides. The sides are a very generous portion also! Everything was very good.
