We stopped at this place before our basketball game. When we got there it was empty but once we ordered, people started to come in. We grabbed some appetizers and drinks because we didn’t have enough time to try more things. The appetizers that we got were good. They just got their alcohol license so we got a chance to try it out. Give it a try if you haven’t!

Went out for tacos, since it was Tuesday and decided to try this place. Overall, my wife and I both liked the visit. The place is very clean and the waiter was attentive and friendly to us the entire time. We got some queso and chorizo with our chips for extra. The tacos were good. Only complaint is you need to season those meats. Everything was cooked well, but lacked salt. Tilapia needed some acid like a lime wedge. They bring out a serving plate with a small thing of salsa verde, cilantro, and onion, that I was able to put on myself. I’m a big fan of cilantro and onions for tacos so I could have gone for more of the two.

There were FIVE of us. Everyone ordered something different than the others and ALL of it was bland. Literally floored the food was terrible. There were two people working, the food took a while to come out and none of it came out at the same time . No one ate the rice or the refried beans (we all tried it). The tacos were garbage no flavor at all, fajitas also bland. The chips and salsa ugh! Salsa tasted like tomato sauce we seriously had to make jokes about it because if we didn’t we would have been mad. Two of the items ordered weren’t even brought out to our table. Save your money and go to Don Tequilas. This place will never last at this rate.

The service is extremely slow. Went there for lunch with only having an hour. My advice is that if you are working and want to go here and get back on time, this is not the place to go. There was only one other table of customers in the restaurant so not sure why it took so long. Chips and salsa came out fast, but it took a very long time before someone came to get the drink order and food order and then waited a long time for the food. Food is good but the service takes away from the experience. The mañana habit is not good to have to succeed here.

I’m new to the area and want to support locally owed/operated businesses. My family and I ordered carryout and we were all very satisfied. In my opinion they are doing a great job keeping it simple and providing great meals at a reasonable price. Running your own resturant is hard no matter how big or small and it takes a few years to get ahead. Keep up the good work we will be back!

I would’ve given Maguey 0 stars but it wouldn’t let me. We were sat at 7:10PM. Drinks came out about 10 minutes later. We put our order in for fajitas for 2. We didn’t see our server again (managers son) until after 8PM. The girl that brought us our chips & salsa asked if we wanted queso. We ordered 2. 15 minutes later we had to get another servers attention. She had the first girl bring us one claiming the 2nd would be out in a minute. It never came. People were sat next to us and ordered the same thing. They got their food. We didn’t. 8:15 we talked to the manager. Her excuse was that they’re backed up because it’s cinco de mayo. We still had to pay for our drinks, if we didn’t order alcohol I would’ve argued. Service is in my top 3 worst service ever. I hope the place folds and the family goes hungry so they know how it feels to be ignored. We went to Taco Bell instead.
