Was closed. Signs say no fishing. I went there just hoping to try my luck. Being from out of state and trying to find a good fishing spot is tricky. This place is very pretty though.

Reasonably priced. Asked for lightly fried catfish with fries and coleslaw. Catfish was delicious. Really really good. I liked the coleslaw as well. Tasty and not too sweet or sour. fries were good. Kind of typical. I would go there every night for the lightly fried catfish, It was really excellent. Service was okay. Nice to sit outside. Looking out over the lake. Very pretty.

We looked for a place on the lake for lunch and rode 1 1/2 hrs to get here. It was worth the trip, the food was great and our waitress was friendly and stayed on top of things even with the busy lunch time rush. We will make the trip again.

Always a hoping place, so parking and seating is often at a premium. Friendly servers at the bar and that evening a live band was just finishing their set. Catfish and wings were worth trying. Burgers looked good on other tables.

We boated here yesterday and really enjoyed our visit. We have never been to this part of the lake but it was a nice boat ride from the State Park. The dock looks brand new and it’s very easy to get in and out with your boat. You can get gas here as well.

Food is so good! We had Catfish bites, sweet potato fries and a most delicious salad with fried chicken on top. Never thought I’d say this but that chicken was better than chick-fil-a. Awesome regular fries also. Definitely would recommend and return!

We booked a fishing guide early Saturday morning with Patriot Fishing Charter and left from Magnum Point Marina at sunrise. Captain John was top notch and we had a great morning on the water. He contacted the marina upon our return to the dock to make sure the breakfast buffet was still available for us. It was – and it was delicious! Biscuits, gravy, eggs, bacon, hash browns, grits, the works. Definitely a nice end to a great morning. We liked it so much we returned for dinner that evening. There was a small wait for a table, but the staff were hustling to accommodate everyone. Dinner was also delicious! Ice cream on the deck was a perfect treat to end the day. Great views. Great service. We’ll definitely be back!
