This restaurant gives lot of food but is not organized at all whatsoever. I waited an hour in line to finally discover that you had to pay FIRST and THEN make the line. Nothing indicates that. I told the cashier about it and he did nothing to give my meal faster, and everybody that was in line before me got their meal and I waited like an idiot. No respect for their clients.

OMG where do I start. The food is amazing…the prices are outstanding…and the food portion is out of this world. This place has been in the Florence mall for over 20 years and still has its orginal owners. If you think they use to pack the plates back then they have really outdone themselves now. It is the box closure for me!! She always does that..on point! Food for days, fresh, hot and plenty!

So I’ve seen this place all over my tiktok fyp for the past year but I live in Virginia. We found ourselves heading to Camden and sure enough the mall was right along our path. According to Google they opened at 10 am on Saturday, we arrived at 10:54 am but there was no food up set up yet they were working on filling the pans. They started taking orders at 11 and then it was probably 10-15 minutes later when people started receiving food. We were 3rd in line. They don’t have any type of number system, they don’t ask for a name, so you have to sit there and watch them fill orders and then step up to the counter when they make yours. The gentleman who was fufilling orders was going much slower compared to what we’ve seen on tiktok. So the line quickly grew and again you’re just all over the place waiting. We got 2 sesame chicken with lo mein and 2 large drinks, our total was $30.80, they are cash only. Food was good, portions beyond generous. We ate at the mall, then I ate some a few hours later on the ride home, then ate some for breakfast the following morning, then I still had enough lo mein left for another meal and for my 2 toddlers to also have some. Only recommendation was I wish it was a bit more organized: considering most of the people who ordered while we were there were also not from the area it’d just be easier if ordering and pick up was more streamlined.

It’s at the mall so the atmosphere depends on who’s there. The service is fantastic. I gave the food itself a 4 star rating. Let’s be honest. It’s mall food in Florence SC. It’s not going to be amazing but it isn’t awful. People keep making trips out to try it because they give a huge portion & they see it on TikTok or Facebook & then get upset it’s americanized Chinese food that isn’t amazing. When you’re broke & need something decent this place is a lifesaver. Would I drive out of my way hours to get it? Not for the flavor. Definitely out of restaurant loyalty though.

They have very nasty attitudes and my family personally spent $70 dollars on food and when we asked for 2 extra forks the lady at the counter got smart and had the nerve to say “you already have enough” . we politely asked for 2 forks and to be talked to like that was wrong. I also noticed when another customer asked for another cup of water the guy who was ringing up the orders looked at the other customer nasty. My family will never go to them again. They need an attitude adjustment and need to learn how to be polite to people. It is not just about the forks it is about the attitude and how you treat people especially when the customer was being nice.

I love Magnolia Wok, you get a lot of food for a little money. The pack the trays so full that you can share with one to two people and be full. They only take cash but it’s totally worth it

Huge portions at a reasonable price. The menu is limited and the food is ok. Three of us ate off one plate. You pay in one line and get in another to get your food. Sometimes the wait seems a bit unreasonable. Be prepared as it is cash only.

SO MUCH FOOD! Honestly my hubby and I ended up splitting a combo 3 plate and had tons left over. Food was pretty good too just be prepared for a long line because of it.
