Two friends, from the same country, same region and also same town, funny enough we love each other like brothers after so many years. The story starts in Italy were we grow up, finally moved to London to chase a dream, learning how to cook and interact with international people and finally stepped into the American soil to leave the dream that we are living today, with all your support and with all our energy we are going to succeed in what, one day, long time ago seemed to be only a dream.

Magma pizzeria was recommended to us by an Italian friend and I can say it was a real surprise: the pizza is truly like in the best places in Italy. Right balance of ingredients, right portion size. We took a Margherita, a Pistackiosa and a Tyrolese. All really excellent. The managers are Sicilians, two young guys with a lot of experience, nice and well organized. All the staff make you feel at home. Compliments.

We’re always looking for fresh carrpaccio. It has been very hard to find in this area. Here, two gentlemen from Sicily (but experienced in the Westlake restaurant scene), make it with fresh wagyu, arugula, pesto, and pecorino foam. Honestly, the pecorino is best paired with their AMAZING foccacia. Then, we had the best 4 cheese pizza ever! No tomato sauce but the perfect balance of mozzarella, ricotta, gorgonzola, and parmesan. The Italian beer, Menabrea, paired perfectly with the pizza and the carpaccio with the Super Tuscan red blend wine. Ella is the sweetest, kindest, and genuinely caring server.

Authentic Italian pizza! According to the owners, it is a hybrid of Napolitano and Sicilian, which most relates to the crust (which is amazing). It has that small town, family-owned vibe. They change their specials frequently so you can get some really interesting pies (a pistachio pizza, for example). Fair warning, they are always busy in the evening. You may or may not be and to dine in depending on when you go. The owners like talking; chat them up. They are funny guys.

Great authentic Italian food with robust flavors. But the customer service can use improvement. There should be an organization system that keeps track of every table. That way orders and bills can go out on time. With that said, I look foward to improvements. Pro tip: if you’re a customer visit during off hours or take out since room is limited.
