The food was absolutely delicious and the suicide punch is so good!! The service from the moment you walk in was impressive. Sexy Brenda was our server but by the way she greeted us when we entered you would have thought she owned the place. She made the experience a five star rating! I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back!

So I just went there today as they are now open 7 days a week. I am giving 3 stars instead of one because the customer service was top of the line from taking my phone order to pick up the young lady was amazingly kind and considerate. She had my order ready on time. I did not receive my cornbread but that’s ok considering the food was not that great. The sweet potato pie was amazing but the rice was not good the greens were not good and the potato salad needed some work. I enjoyed the chicken and the yams. I will try Pembroke Pines location in hopes of better food.

Today i was craving soul food very badly but was in a rush. I️ ordered take out here hoping for the best but I’ve certainly tried better places in broward and feel it wasn’t worth what i paid. Receptionist was kind but they also take cash only so i had to get cash back at Walgreens. Wish the best for them and hope they improve flavoring in certain side dishes.

The only thing that I thought was good from this place is the potato salad… Well, just last weekend Saturday me and my co-worker order only potato salad. Just minutes later we both felt very sick after eating the potato salad, it had a very funny taste to it, it didn’t taste fresh, like as usual. Never again will I wat from them or will I recommend friends or family to come and eat.

I wasn’t impressed with my meal from here. I ordered smothered pork chops, collard greens and yams. The pork chops were mediocre, the greens were bland and the yams were flavored with syrup. I expected more from a soul food restaurant in the south, hopefully they’ll change the recipes and improve the dishes.

This is the best soul food restaurant in Florida. What friendly people !!!! The first time ever a restaurant offered me something to drink while I waited on my order. Such classy people . Also their salmon and cornbread is to die for. The signs were right the food so good must be magic!

This place has to be one of the best when it comes to real soul food. They definitely cook from the soul. Fresh food while you wait. We’re looking forward to the big grand opening. The salmon is to die for and the turkey wings falls off the bone. Nothing like this in south Florida.

I had the grilled shrimp salad which has sauteed onions and it compliments this colorful and amazing dish!. The shrimp has some mild seasoning on it which blends well with the salad. I will definitely try the catfish next visit with some collards and yummy yams

Today I ordered turkey wings, collard greens macaroni and cheese. They asked if I wanted cornbread at an additional $2.00. The food was horrible. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone; totally disappointed.
