I’m in love. We had chicken finger friend okra and the patty Melt. It was fantastic. We ordered a side of gravy. The meal was moderately priced and we left FuLL. People from all walks of life were there and everyone seemed to be enjoying the food

My first time eating here the growing baby in my stomach wanted a home cooked meal so I ordered beef tips and a lot of different sides. Everything was good and I was all most done eating when I felt a HAIR in my mouth. I pulled it out and yes it was a blonde piece of hair I immediately started throwing everything up. My biggest fear came true today.

Miss the location on 165 North, but I can understand why here cuz of the more direct traffic flow, which equals more $$$. Roast beef poboy is always my go-to. Food is as usual. Never had a complaint. Wish they had crinkle-cut fries, but I’m ok without it nonetheless. Maybe a 50s/60s jukebox would make a better ambiance? Love coming here. Parking can be a bit tight if you’re driving a long bed.

All the food was good, but not as good as in the past. A dinner partner and I had shrimp po boys. They were tasty in the shrimp were well fried, but I thought the french fries were a bit overcooked. I had been raving to my friend, it was visiting from out of town, about how wonderful the gravy always was. Today, he died independently came to the same conclusion that it was from a mix and excessively salty Service was excellent. However total costvfor the two meals was right at 50 bucks.

Nice cozy! LOVE the vintage dinette chairs. Got the roast beef poboy with gravy and sweet potato fries. The gravy should be a drink! Hands down the best sweet potato fries ever!

Hands down my favorite restaurant in the twin cities! Real ingredients, no freeze dried, artificial garbage like the fast food joints. My favorites are the open faced burger and any/all of the po-boys. You will NEVER find a better po-boy anywhere, and the gravy is the best I’ve ever tasted! Both locations are great but the 18th street location is the best hands down!

The best roast beef po-boys and homemade fries with lots of gravy! Plate lunches available all day but they can be hit or miss, depending on the cook.

Best roast beef poboy you can find. The gravy is what makes it. Fries are fresh cut and good.
