Madera’s has become our local hangout. The food is reasonably priced and the crispy rellenos is one of our go to dishes. The trivia on Monday nights is a blast! The hosts are very engaging and the people who play are a lot of fun. We’ve never had bad service there from any of the employees. Everyone is very friendly and attentive, but I do need to give Dylan a special shout out. He is a fantastic bartender, always engaging with everyone, remembers what people like to order, and willing to make fun creations. He cares about the establishment and looks for ways to improve things and listens to customer feedback. He is a fun, vibrant guy and is the main reason we keep going back!

I had the Chile Rellanos, and it was fairly greasy. My husband had the veggie sandwich, and it was awful. However, the onion rings were good. The chicken on the chicken salad is fried. Just your basic bar food. The server was nice. It was not impressive in any way. Won’t be going back.

Quick service. Food quality is about the same as the owners other location (breakfast place nearby called omlets ect), which is good but nothing spectacular. Price is right for food quality . The atmosphere was kind of loud given the small amount of people inside.

So my family and I came in tonight for dinner. Atmosphere seemed good and we were hungry. Our server was attentive and polite. Orders were taken and after a few minutes, our food arrived. Our little got the Mac n Cheese with fruit (grapes & pineapple). The grapes and pineapple looked expired, with some pieces of pineapple being almost completely brown. My wife got a side salad instead of fries, and from the look of the lettuce, they either freeze it or it sits in the walk in by the door. That wasn’t the worst part though. Madera’s charges a 3.99% Inflation Fee on your bill. Yes, you read that right, an INFLATION FEE. Like we as consumers aren’t already paying for our own inflation?! The worst part is that the fee IS NOT posted on their menus or on any entrances/exits. So I would not recommend Madera’s as it seems very shady and unsanitary in regards to their produce and fruits. Oh yeah, the Patron Margarita was trash. My wife took one sip and couldn’t finish because of how acidic it was.

Went to Madeira’s today. The interior hasn’t changed since new ownership. Tables and chairs are same and could use an update. Wine glasses are small and tacky. I got the Philly which was very short on roast beef, onions and peppers but the price was good. Wife got fish and chips. Onion rings and fish were over cooked but replacement onion rings were quickly brought

There may be naysayers on the reviews but honestly this place is amazing. Customer service was on point. I had the sirloin steak and it was perfectly cooked they had options for the kids and they loved them as well. My wife had the BLTTA and she loved it. This is the hidden gem of meridian. Loving then new ownership. You all should definitely check it out.
