My mom and I were spending the night in Morgantown and decided to get dinner here. We got it to go, and it was delicious. We got the alfredo pasta, pesto pasta, and garlic bread. They are big servings, though, so I’d maybe recommend getting one dish and splitting it.

Ate at Madeline Marie’s while visiting Morgantown. The place is simple but cozy. There is an open kitchen so you can watch the line cooks prepare your food . Our food was good, we had the chicken special that included pasta. The waiter was very nice.

Went there last night for first time. Loved it. We ate in . Had our own wine. Mostly a take out place but are we talking fancy take out place. The food was delicious. Having take out from there tonight. This is definitely a twice a week place as it is so close by and food is incredible with specials that change every two weeks. Had Maryland crab dip and a sushi roll was over the top.

Go for the food! Go early because there is limited seats. We started off with the crab dip with fresh baked bread. Jambalaya was filling but the Jamaican chicken was the taste buds winner! Raspberry tart topped off a delicious meal!

I’ve been wanting to order from here since the Wine & Jazz in 2019 when I had a steak salad that was so good I’ve been thinking about ever since. My boyfriend and I finally ordered take out tonight—the restaurant was super cute and the waiter was very nice and even brought the order out to the car since they were a bit behind. But I am soooo so disappointed in the food. Maybe I’m just hangry but I never write negative reviews, let alone on a local business but this is my personal experience and opinion. Like I said, I’ve literally been thinking about this place for two whole years now because of this one steak salad that I had; the steak was juicy and flavorful and the roasted veggies were so perfect. However, tonight the food was subpar at best. The medium rare steak and potatoes (pictured) were so dry and way too done. Veggie gnocchi was watery (but that could just be from using fresh veggies) and we also got a side of mac and cheese that was the best thing out of the order after heavily seasoning it. Overall, every single thing was weirdly bland and tasted like they forgot to season it (kitchen did look pretty busy when at pick up so could be a possibility?) and the steak was so dry/bland/overcooked. Probably won’t order again based off of this but others seem to have great things to say so please take my review with a grain of salt, and best of luck to Madeline Marie’s in the future. 🙂
