Great seafood. One of the best steaks around and very reasonably priced. Had a New York Strip and baked potato tonight that was delicious. Topped it all off with a slice of Salted Caramel Cheesecake that is out of this world.

My mom and I were passing through this area to drop something off and decided to stop and eat . The food was fresh, hot and really good . Our waitress was sweet and very welcoming . This is an hour from my home however we will return . The waitress advised this is family owned and the way it got its name and the family works here as well . Makes it even better and beats a chain restaurant any time

1st time ordering steaks here and WOW , were they Awesome ! I ordered a Blackened Ribeye and my wife got the New York Strip . So,So, Good ! You didn’t need steak sauce good ! Tender and juicy with a Great Taste . Service was Excellent too !

I ordered the large seafood platter on take out. We waited over 50 minutes for it and when I got home there was only 2 oysters not much bigger than my thumb nail, 2 large shrimp, a very small deviled crab and calabash shrimp and a piece of flounder. My food was cold. I called back and was told sorry that the oysters they have right now are very small. If they are small they should have added a few extra to compensate the size. The lady said there was nothing she could do but tell me sorry. I felt ripped off after paying over $20.00 for what I received. I was a weekly regular but I will not be returning.

First time eating here yesterday with my family. Best food in wilkes county hands down. I’m a chef myself so I’m picky especially about my steak and I had the best steak in my entire life here. The waitress was so nice and gave grade A service. Prices are definitely reasonable and affordable. This is officially a place my family and I will go to eat at least once a week now. Again Them ribeyes shesh ammmmmazzzzing. If you haven’t eaten here ur not livin. No need to drive outta town for good food.

The food is very good. I highly suggest the Prime Rib, Mahi Mahi, or the Ribeye. Honestly I’ve never gotten anything bad here. The staff are friendly and attentive; and the prices are good as well. We eat here weekly.

Always thought Texas Roadhouse had the best steak around, not so sure now. Thick, juicy and tender. Makes me want one now. I’ve been told that everything on the menu is as good. I wouldn’t be surprised. Maybe sometime i’ll be able to order something besides the steak.

Mad Jax has the best flounder in town!!! When your food comes so hot you have to blow it lol you know its good!!! I’m not a shrimp fan but I stold a shrimp from my bf (because it looked so good)and even it was good!! Great food!! Very friendly staff!!
