Friday fish fry All-you-can-Eat we got the haddock, crab styx & roasted chicken option with potato pancakes. It was very good but we weren’t impressed with the potato pancakes. Lola was great. All staff were very attentive.

$30 for this.. potato was so tiny. Was not a true baking potato at all. No other veggie. No crackers even with my soup. When I asked I was just told no and she walked away. Total for both my hubby and I was $66. For not much of nothing. Used to love coming here. But never again.

We started going to Mad Dans years ago when it was on the lake. They always served this wonderful crunchy appetizer (like crostini toast) with cheese. The fish fry was all you could eat and you could get broiled and batter fried together. This last weekend we took my family from Reno there and my son and son-in-law. The server was wonderful. However the perch was very fishy tasting as was the breaded haddock. My sister-in-law had the walleye and only had one bite it was so fishy tasting. If only I’d thought to send it back and get the beer battered. It was very disappointing especially after I went on and on about the best place ever. Potato pancakes were delicious. Maybe it was an off night?

Great atmosphere! Everything was amazing. The service, the food! I have nothing but great things to say. Perfect chicken and dumpling soup, amazing perch. Husband loved the prime rib. Next time, kids are coming with that price!

Welp the food is really good, but alas covered in grease. Good price, but certainly not healthy. Atmosphere has a nice lodge feel and the employees are kind. However, no employees wear masks and clearly they don’t enforce social distancing because about 12 of the 15 bar stools (no masks) were full when I picked up take-out.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid! There’s nothing like it! Best chicken dumpling soup you will ever have in your life! Amazing fish fry. Even the bread basket rocks!! Friendly, small- town, family owned establishment that I will always come back to, no matter where I live.

Me and my dad stopped in for a quick lunch. The whole seating area seemed new and cozy. My dad got fried fish and I got a salad. The fish looked a little greasy but the fries were done perfect. Not many vegan options for me. I wanted a hardy salad with avocado. They didn’t have any avocado! The chef made a special Southwestern salad with beans/corn/salsa. Tasted great and the portions where large. Waitress was friendly and helpful. The dress code is casual.

The staff are so friendly and attentive every time we come here. Will continue to say nothing but good things about Mad Dan’s & continue to stop in for a bite, but especially for those chips n cheese !!!!

Its been a few years since I have gone back to Mad Dans, and I’m glad i did this time around the food was really good, I got the baked and fried fish, both were delicious. It comes with the mini loaf of bread and really put the dinner to the next level. Patato pancakes were not anything special but tasted fine. Coleslaw was tastey as well.
