Our server was great, but everything else was just OK. First the bad: had to ask for the table to be wiped off again because it was still sticky (yuck), and there was a light above that was flickering badly and needed to be replaced (so we ended up moving to a table by the window), they must have been short staffed because there was a wait to be seated even though there were clearly many open tables, and then they were out of several menu items (little surprising for a Sunday lunch). The good: our server was great, he was both helpful and accommodating (helping us move tables, checked on ingredients for a food allergy etc.) Overall though, not our best experience at Mac’s. We usually go to the one in Cornelius, and have had better experiences.

5 stars for the food, 3 stars for the experience. We came here the other weekend with some friends who were visiting from out of state. We were seated quickly, but it took a long time for us to be acknowledged by our server. I think this was likely due to staffing issues, so it really wasn’t a big deal. Our server was very nice, but it seemed like he was juggling too many tables at once. Several beers listed on the beer menu are no longer offered, which was a bit frustrating. The food itself was quite enjoyable. The deviled egg appetizer was a hit. The pulled pork was delicious, and I’m particular when it comes to barbecue. I recommend checking them out if you are in the area.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I was here with my wife and another couple all of which were also eating here for the first time, let me start by saying that the overall atmosphere is lively but not loud plenty of seating without filling like you’re on top of anyone and plenty to look at on the walls and selling to make for a very interesting dining experience.

Stop by Mac’s Speed Shop to eat after a great night out with the family and we couldn’t have picked a better spot to eat dinner ️ Everything was great from the Food to the amazing service we received from our server Patience!! She did an excellent job at making sure we were well taken care of and had anything and everything we needed to make for an awesome experience! Because of Patience we will be coming back to eat at this location when we are in the area.

New to the area (moved from Connecticut) and a lot of places are new to me, mac’s being one of them. The food was awesome, staff was awesome, overall atmosphere was great. Met up with a group of car people for a cars and lunch kinda thing and glad I got to eat here while attending that.

Nice casual atmosphere with good service. Indoor and outdoor seating. Nice bar area that can be open air in good weather. About 8 beers on tap and full bar. Dry rub pulled pork was excellent as was the smoked chicken.
