Good food, great folks, wonderful conversation, and the atmosphere is so upbeat and family like. And not without humor. We are triking on our Harley Tri Glide across the state every chance we get; searching for mom and pop diners! And Coffee shops, and this one is a WINNER! They love trikers and bikers, and all folks alike. A true ( make you feel at home) southern gem. The food was not only delicious but filling as well. The serving size was just right. Those ladies in there are kind and friendly, like you’re eating with family. We will be back. and……..we will bring friends and will spread the word!

Great American-style diner! As you seen on tv series/movies. Katie and Emily are very polite, kind and careful. Christy was amazing, she came to us and apologize that one of our omlets had fallen apart and she just put it into another omlet so we have two omlets for the price of one

On our way home from Charleston, we looked for a place to eat lunch. Coming up on the Hilly Hill, SC exit, we found Mac’s Diner! The service, particularly Katie, was fabulous. Katie made you feel like you were eating in your own kitchen. She was attentive, funny and friendly. I had the bacon cheeseburger which was outstanding! I also asked for well done French fries, and they accommodated my request, which does not always happen. This small, off the beaten path, diner is well worth a stop.
