Service was fantastic. They were kind, friendly, and helpful. Expect to wait 30 min or so for hot chicken as they cook everything to order, but if you’re a hot chicken fan, this is nothing new at many places. I ordered the chicken wings Mack Attack. They were definitely overcooked and very dry. I’ve had hot chicken all over middle Tennessee, and this is the first time other than Prince’s that I’ve tasted a hint of cinnamon or nutmeg. Personally, i’m not a fan of that flavor profile, but maybe they’re milder flavors would be better. I’ll try it again.

We absolutely loved all of our food, and the staff was wonderful. Definitely worth the small wait to have everything hot and fresh! Perfectly spiced hot chicken! We will definitely return to this place every time we visit Nashville! Staff is amazingly friendly, and an overall comfortable atmosphere! Oh, and I’m not sure how they make their fruit tea, but do not pass it up…it is phenomenal, and if I could give this place a million stars I would! Keep up the great work Mack’s Hot Chicken!

Staff was nice and friendly. I love fried catfish and there’s did not disappoint. The fried okra was fried a little to much but still good. Definitely recommend and will be coming back.

I’ve seen a lot of good reviews about Mack’s Hot Chicken and decided to check them out. I tried to place an order over the phone 2 days in a row but no one ever answered. I went to the restaurant and let me say that the staff is outstanding! Super nice! I ordered 3 plain whole wings, 3 lemon pepper whole wings, and catfish. I was told the wait would be 30-45 minutes and that my food would be brought out to my car. I ended up waiting an hour which is part of the reason why I’m giving them 3 stars. The second reason why I’m giving them 3 stars is because the catfish was not good. I don’t like how they cover the fish with mustard. I ended up throwing it away. The wings however were pretty good. More like fried chicken. I didn’t really taste the lemon pepper but still good.

Awesome chicken and fries. I ate all the fries before I could take a picture. Their food is HOT!!! I do wish the inside of the restaurant was a bit more organized. They really don’t seem to want you to sit and eat.

I visited your awesome business 2 years ago and ate there 3 out of my 4 days there. I visited again this past weekend and was greeted by a beautiful (inside and out) young lady named Morgan. When I mentioned I had to come back after 2 years, she remembered me! She greeted me with complete kindness and asked if I still worked for the “wing place” in Georgia. She absolutely remembered me! I was only able to visit once this trip, but definitely got extra food for the next day. I cannot say enough about your staff, the food and my experience. Y’all are awesome!!!

Been here several times now and love it. My favorite is ordering the tenders in Medium heat with Lemon Pepper. Yes, you can do both, it’s awesome. All of the sides are delicious with the okra being my favorite.

Delicious hot chicken! The medium was really hot so be aware. Good greens and baked beans. Very reasonable prices. I got chicken tenders and it was straight breast meat in big strips. Succulent delicious and I will definitely get it again. You get 2 leg quarters for dark meat with a lot of bone in it. But my husband liked it. Super friendly. Even the customers were nice helping us make decisions. My only suggestion is spruce up the decor. It doesn’t take much. It is way too plain when eating in. Get a theme and make it feel festive! Loved this place!
