Went here on a Thursday afternoon for lunch. Met Mack from Mack’s Bar & Grill. Seemed like a nice and humble man. Got the Mack’s BBQ Burger with fries. My family all went with the wings and fries. I just had to be different. Lol They seem to really like the wings. I’ll have to try them next time. Place was clean and staff was friendly. Service was ok. Things were a little hectic (some people got food right away and others didn’t) but to be fair my party was rather large. I’ll return another day to give Mack’s a chance at that 5th star ⭐️.

This has become my weekend treat. The break menu is fantastic. With the mix of great food and value prices. The service is great with the personal touch of remembering us from our visit last week. My recommendation is to try this hidden jewel and treat yourself to a great breakfast. If you want they will even make your meal to order.

My wife and I went there after work this evening. It was my first time and her second. The food was delicious. I had their BBQ Burger. It was superb. The onion rings that I got with it were excellent. She got chicken wings and onion rings as well. She loved those tonight as well as the first time she had them.

Mack serves up the best fresh Catfish you can get on Friday. The atmosphere is really fun. His staff is absolutely terrific and knowledgeable. What a great time we had. Can’t wait to get back there once I’m in St Louis again!.

We are in town from Michigan and staying across the street from Mack’s, where we noticed a sign advertising breakfast Fri – Sun with “2Shaes.” Not having any idea what to expect, but being big fans of convenience, we wandered across the street on Saturday morning and met a new friend in Don, who runs the breakfast weekends with his wife.

I was actually in here on March 30th for happy hour, my friend and manager is leaving and is a regular here. I ordered wings and onion rings (there is only an upcharge of a dollar to get them instead of fries) The beer battered onion rings are delicious! The wings are the best in town! Regina is the cook, David is a wonderful server and Mack the owner is delightful and charming. I took the Bbq Burger with onion rings home for my partner Stanley, it was all so good we came back on Saturday April 2nd, and ordered the same again! Come check them out, you will not be disappointed!!

Wonderful neighborhood spot! In addition to food and drinks , they also have a selection of arcade games and a pool table. My favorite foods so far include the gyro or chicken Cobb salad. Oh, and the fries!! I plan to return for karaoke night.

I was genuinely impressed at the location. I stopped in to pick up a food order and was surprised to see the owner working the bar himself. He checked in on me while I waited to made sure I was ok and smiling the whole way! I love it. The food was fresh and tasty. I’m looking forward to coming back again.

First time to this place…just moved to the neighborhood and thought I would check it out. Sat at the back bar on a Friday night and was looking forward to some drinks and ordering food to take back to my apartment. The bartender seemed very put-off by just about every question or request I had, which were not many. I spent 14 years in the restaurant industry…I knew when it was my time to get out. It seemed like she is past her time given her attitude. First time I have left less than 20% for a tip and I will not be back. The food can be great, but if the service isn’t friendly, I’m out. I can see why there were only 3 other people sitting at her bar on a Friday night.
