I normally eat fish at another place in town, but tonight it was late and we didn’t want to cook and wanted something close. The lady who owns this place works in cat rescue with my wife, so she has always suggested we try here and we finally did. It did not disappoint.

We ordered the fish and shrimp and they were delicious including the banana pudding. I am a little upset though because I realize the women didn’t include my side which was coleslaw, but the other two orders did include their side.

Solid food served from. A rolling kitchen. Hope you like fried food! Catfish, shrimp. Chicken fingers/nuggets, fries. Slaw , hushpuppies, good food served by good people.

We got the family combo meal with a banana pudding for dessert. The catfish and chickens were cooked to order. The hush puppies were fluffy and light. Good meal and good price. Only thing is they don’t take a debit or credit card only cash or local check only so advised.

Mackey’s only does takeout. The catfish was VERY GOOD as were the fries and the coleslaw !!! The hushpuppies were the BEST that I’ve had anywhere !!!! I would high recommend that you give them a try, you won’t be disappointed !!!!!!!!

Amazing food. The hush puppies alone win me over. Light and fluffy with pieces of corn and onions mixed throughout. Nothing like the hard balls of nothing you get from other places. The banana pudding is amazing also.

Cool food truck just west of downtown on our way across Arkansas. Shared a catfish platter on the picnic table on a warm sunny day (before the summer heat). The catfish was super flavorful with just enough breading without diminishing flavor. Came with fries, slaw, and A+ hushpuppies – cooked just right and excellent flavor. Friendly staff. Can’t miss.

I really like mackie’s fish. I usually don’t like cornmeal batter, but the fish is lightly breaded so you get more fish than batter. The fries are also good.

I think the fish should have been cooked in new grease
