I ate here years ago, and my experience was not great. So I gave it another try. I ordered street tacos, nachos, sliders, and a pepperoni pizza. Absolutely terrible. The tacos had very little meat and flavored with seasoning salt a tease of cheese and salad lettuce. Nothing at all like the description or picture. The nachos had nothing on them but a sprinkle of corn with a squirt of sauce. The pizza was fine. I threw away the tacos and nachos after one bite. The sliders were dry and had no sauce. The atmosphere inside seems fun but I ordered to go dinner for my family. The only edible items out of all the order was the pizza. We were very much looking forward to trying McKenzie again, only to waste our time and money. I wish restaurants would try to make every plate as if they were serving their family. Have consistency and put in some effort. Not just throwing things on a plate just to get it off their line. I will talk with the manager and may change my review, but for now…it’s barely a 2 star.

Okay, the pepperoni was incredible. They got it to crisp up just right. We got the Old Boy’s Pizza. It was delicious. There was also a delicious huckleberry lemonade. We had a blast eating here. They were also very family friendly.

Ordered pizza first (we were in a hurry and told server to put food order in quickly – that we had someplace to be in an hour). Then drinks ordered and delivered. One hour later – no pizza. No ice left in any drinks, all beer gone. Server never came back to ask about more drinks or refills. Still waiting for pizza (1 hour and 10 min and counting). When pizza arrived, it was lukewarm. Tasted good.

Worst service I have ever had in my life. We’re not from here and we were so excited for local food after traveling all day and finally getting into town. Let me say this is not the place for tourist, much less anyone at all. We had asked our server for local drink/ food recommendations upon arrival and she said that she didn’t know because she wasn’t 21. She had no clue what beer they even carried (which was very minimal) and no knowledge of even 1 local beer. When we did order and get our food, she dropped it off and immediately turned around and walked off. Mind you, we each had empty glasses. Never even thought once to bring refills or ask if we needed anything. Through the meal, she continued to walk by our table multiple times, glancing over and still ignoring us. We had to flag her down and ask for the BARE minimum. Then when we did get refills (10-15 minutes later of having nothing but an ice cube), she’d leave the empty cups and just walk off, again carelessly. We were planning to do dessert, but weren’t offered that and of course not even a box for our leftovers. Pathetic.

Incredibly ExcEllent… for a day when you feel like you’ve been launched into the middle of the sun! We had the green horn veggie wraps. They were sooooooo scrumptious! We had gotten them to go… but the ac in oldie Goldie was shot, and it was so hot outside, we knew we needed to eat indoors. Very very very excellent AC in makenzie river. It was so so so nice. The decorative dried grass was beautiful, the ambiance ~stellar~. Nothing like the yummy sounds of a green goodness wrap from Mother Earth herself. DIVINE!!!!!! Very very good AC!! & food too 🙂

Our family came here after reviewing the menu online and knowing we had found a place for all. We got there and there were three people behind the counter They all just stared at us for five minutes before someone else came to seat us. When he did, they all thanked him for not making them deal with “it”. Then they offered us a free appetizer that was similar to cheese bread but had a fish taste. My pasta dish came out with two different types of pasta in it and only half were warm. We were not happy and would NEVER go back or recommend them.

Just arrived and this was a recommendation. Atmosphere and location were great. Timing to get food was terrible. We were told kitchen was backed up with “To Go Orders.” When we asked shouldn’t dine in be prioritized over to go…was informed the to go’s came first and they’ll get to our food soon. Server was great, her hands were tied. Waited a long while, one dish was cold. Pizza was ok/good. Might have been an off night for them, not sure but expectations were not met.

Nice spacious place with big booths and a few TVs. We came at around 3pm on a Friday and there was no crowd. Sat right down, ordered wings and a pepperoni pizza. The wings were $15 and were clearly out of a frozen bag. Super gross. The pizza was ok but I wouldn’t call it a pizza place. Good beer on tap. Our waitress was attentive.

Great place to sit down and enjoy a meal. Large booths are available to fit 4+ people comfortably. I highly recommend the Buffalo Mac and cheese it is geared toward spicy eaters. Great service and ambience as well.
