I know a lot of people will say their relatives cook better or whatever, but I don’t come from a Hispanic family at all. This is a Mexican restaurant located close to me. Also, every single time I come I see many Hispanics enjoying their food.

Few places manage to bring a smile to my face when it comes to eating a quick meal.

The food was not good. I got the carne asada plate. Standard food, right. The carne had no real flavor. The French fries and rice were poorly cooked and had bad flavor. The beans had bad flavor. The guacamole was not good. The corn tortillas were ok.

Delicious fish tacos at a very reasonable price. It’s our eat out joint after our Saturday pick up ⚽️. I would recommend the place for fish tacos, shrimps tacos and Jamaica

To be fair, I didn’t have the fish tacos and some of the four and five star reviews mention liking those.

This is a place we like to visit after church. The food is delicious and generous. I destroyed that burrito despite its size.

First time at Macho. Staff was really nice and helpful with the order. I ordered a two taco (asada and carnitas) combination plate as well as the fried fish plate. The tacos I felt like were just okay. The meats felt a bit dry and I prefer yhe rice and beans over it. The fried fish was much tastier and was a large portion too. Parking is available in the lot shared with other businesses. May have to stop by again to see how their $1.50 Ensenada fish tacos are like.

There are Mexican restaurants and then there are authentic Mexican restaurants, this is one. They have albóndigas, Chile relleno, and menudo on the menu daily. They also have the regular stuff like tacos and burritos. I had the Chile relleno it was delicious with a coke $9.99 They also serve beer. I didn’t check if they had a restroom as i didn’t need to use it. The service was fair and the atmosphere was that of O.G. cholos enjoying their food going from Spanish to English while they spoke. Very interesting. If your Mexican you feel right at home here.

The food has always been decent, but the two recent times I went, the pricing has been inconsistent. I been going here for years, and its always been that way, but not to the extent of this last experience that just happened a few minutes ago. (I understand we have inflation in our nation, so I am taking that into consideration. I had to rhyme) I ordered a chorizo and papa’s breakfast burrito and asked if I can get some chips on the side( the chips have always been complimentary ) and asked to buy a can of coke(12oz). He punches in the order on the register and it comes out to $19.81. I was no way paying that much for tortilla chips a soda and burrito. But I went Forward and asked why was it so expensive. The man replies that the Burrito is 8.99,.so I asked again, if the burrito was that price. Why did it come out so expensive then? The man says the soda is 3.99 And the chips are not complimentary. I didn’t want to ask about the Chips because that’s ridiculous already for the price of a can of coke that goes for 9bucks a 12 pack. So I said that’s still doesn’t add up. He tells me the chips are not free. Never heard of that, Five dollars for chips?? Like come on. I tell him to cancel the coke and I don’t want the chips. The man Charges me twelve dollars for the burrito itself, when he had just said $8.99(7.99 pre inflation)While punching up the new numbers he says yeah everything’s going up, And I say yeah double for the customers, I guess. I thought it was $8.99.. I just paid because im hungry and don’t feel like protesting today.
