Waited a very long time for our food. Even before ordering workers only walked past us for roughly 10 minutes. Machine wasn’t working than then decided to trash talk in front of us. Flys were everywhere. Even after the till was half figured out continued to stare at us and after another 20 minutes began to start cooking. Cashier stared at us while crystal in the back twiddle her thumbs. Heard mounts of complaing. Not a single second since our foot was in the door that there was any manners. Worse service I’ve had in a very long time. Food was overly .

Extremely SLOW service. Extremely POOR quality food for very EXPENSIVE prices. When we complained about burnt food and old grease taste they were rude with no apologies and lots of excuses. We ended up leaving with no solution and the majority of our food uneaten because it was so horrible. I had to stop at Hardees on my way back to work to pick up some real food, since I hadn’t really eaten lunch. Definitely recommend never going to this place. Yuck!

If I could give this place a zero I would. After a hard end of a school year and graduating our son, we thought let’s take the 45 minute trip and have some awesome food and ice cream. What we got was bacon cheeseburgers without bacon, and the smallest medium ice cream cones you could imagine. Needless to say the years of fond memories have passed. Definitely not worth a trip again.

Originally a mom and pop fifties diner, this place has grown over the years with good reason. The food is a little more expensive than a fast food chain, but worth it in taste and to help out a local business. They put in a small convenience store and some gas pumps in the last few years that has caused a bit of congestion at times in the parking lot. Overall, a great place to stop for lunch anytime you’re looking for some all American food.

Mac Daddy’s had the best twist soft serve ice cream in the area, sadly today they only had vanilla. Still, that was better than dealing with temps in the 90’s without it. I’ve only had their ice cream so I’ll update my review when I’ve tried more.

Terrible experience! Total bait and switch. Sign says 2.19 regular unleaded, pumps show 87, 87 and 91. Stated pumping and charged me 2.49!! Looking to take advantage of people is not nice!

Their ice cream with swirling is great, love the butter pecan. Only downside they close in the fall and don’t open until spring. Will try their other products next year.

I was served a tasty beef prime rib sandwich with home made au jus. The sandwich, onion rings and coleslaw cost $11. The bun could have more browning but it was a good bun, maybe fresh baked? I’m sure the cook would have browned it for me but I left before I looked. Good food, would have been awesome with a longer bake on the bun.
