Just had my first meal from Mabel’s. Having gone to school in the South for 4 years, I have had my share of BBQ. Today, I felt like I was there again. Great selection. The brisket was very tender, juicy and flavorful. The sauce was the perfect kind of hot. The baked beans and slaw were the perfect complement. When I have more time, I am definitely going for the collards. The people were friendly and very helpful. Southern hospitality at it’s finest. Thank you. I highly recommend Mable’s BBQ.

I love the atmosphere that Mabel and her team have established. They are all kind and fun as they prepare your food. The food was good. Soul food is food that feeds the soul coming from the heart and by gosh…Mabel and crew do that there and fed my soul…Thank you…if you go you must try the catfish…it will have you coming back…There are also bands …bingo…and so much more…

There’s a lot of good reviews for this place, but I gotta say this was some of the worst bbq I’ve ever had. Maybe I caught them on an off day. I got the beef brisket sandwich which was dry as a bone. The hush puppies were rock hard. The potato salad was decent. I won’t be going back here.

Best pulled pork sandwich ever! Also their beef brisket is amazing! And finally the ribs are to die for!! Not a fast food joint, so don’t expect to be in and out in 5 minutes! But 100% worth the wait!

This is my 1st time here,I’m actually upset that I haven’t been here before,since they told me that they have been at this location for 17 years! The ribs fall right off the bone, the sauce is good too. The sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese are delicious. Definitely will be going back!

Mabel’s! Is EVERYTHING. I recently relocated to PA from Chicago – And; was in need of some good “home” food! I Googled – found Mabel’s BBQ…OMG… it did NOT disappoint! Service was amazing! The way they treated me and their other customers – so very kind & attentive. Totally impressed! And; their special sauce?! Humph…to live for! I ordered – Whiting, fried wings, greens, sweet potatoes, mac n cheese, cabbage, potato salad and Lemon 7 Up Cake! AHHHHHHMAZING!!

So not from the area. Decided to try this place out. Walked in was not greeted at all. But just got stares. Had to talk to the counter and eventually a man walked up. No hello or welcome and after the initial stared down he finally asked me, “Can I help you”? I wanted to say no and walk out. But I was already hungry and an hour away from home. So I ordered and sat down 30 mins later food came. Chicken was too salty, yams too sweet and the potato salad had two much mustard. For my first experience. So disappointing.
