Nice and clean and the food was good I would highly recommend the Brisket Mac and Cheese. Had to ask to get drink refills but other than that no issues and the staff was friendly.

Very nice wait staff, food was okay. The Smoked Brisket Mac and Cheese was delicious, but the brisket was rubbery and slightly pink. Waitress was super kind and tentative. Lots of food, cheap for amount. Tables had some crumbs, but overall clean. Quiet atmosphere, sweet staff, would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a bite to eat!

This has become our go-to place in Houghton Lake! We have spent a lot of time there over the past year. Great selection of beers, fantastic smashburgers, and excellent steaks. The brussels sprouts appetizer and fried mushrooms are probably the best I’ve ever had! We’ve always had amazing service and lots of friendly people visit this place. Next time you’re in town, stop at the M-55 Pour House. You won’t be sorry!

The food was decent, the service was better once we got someone that wasn’t the bartender, and they were super attentive and friendly. The band came in and while we were looking forward to listening to music, we decided not to stay after listening to someone w/the band complaining behind us about not getting enough band tables, food and about the bartender etc. We get it things don’t go right but it’s tough to enjoy the meal with that noise lol! However, good spot for an app and a beer. The cheese curds were good.

This has to be rated one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I have to say first off they had very little help. However, even if you have no help you can be pleasant.

Food was very good and reasonably priced. Service was excellent. I had seen a picture on the Google Maps information page showing a picture of a Monte Cristo sandwich that I was looking forward to trying. I didn’t see it on the menu so I asked our server if they still have have them. She said that it’s not on the menu anymore, and then said if that’s what you want. Friendly and accommodating staff, good food and drinks, lots of televisions to watch your favorite sports teams.

Unlike past visits, food was sub par. Ordered a grilled chicken and a blackened chicken sandwich. I think they grilled one chicken, cut it in half and put on 2 separate Sav a lot buns. Fries were over cooked and tasted more like fish. A other sandwich was supposed to be served as a sub and wasn’t. Maybe because there was 7 or 8 other people in the place they were overwhelmed. After bringing our food the server never came back to check on us. Just brought the bill. Although many places are going cashless these days, this place will charge you 3% extra for using a card. Thankfully the service was nearly non existent so we had no trouble making up that 3% in lack of tip.

It was pretty solid. Super friendly staff. Really nice draft beer selection, best in town as far as I can tell. Food is slightly overpriced for the portions, but it was good. One recommendation, I’m not even an old dude, but the music is so loud, even when it’s just the standard streaming music.

Food was great! Started off with hush puppy appetizer…incredibly priced and very tasty. Had smash burger and wings which were good too! Even had homemade coleslaw. Service was great, waitress was very friendly and gave us great suggestions. THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE IS BEING CHARGED 3% FOR USING A CREDIT CARD WITHOUT BEING TOLD AHEAD OF TIME. WASN’T ON THE BILL EITHER. THE EXTRA 3% SHOWED UP AFTER I PAID WITH CC. PLEASE LET ME KNOW BEFORE IS SIT DOWN SO I CAN DECIDE IF I WANT TO GET CASH, PAY WITH CC OR LEAVE. Everything else was worth going back for.

I will never go back to this place ever again. It took 2 hours to get our food and, when it finally showed up, the mac and cheese was curdled and disgusting. My son had a meltdown from waiting for so long for his single hotdog, so we had to leave. The only saving grace was the burgers, fries and onion rings were really good, but not worth the 2 hour wait. Awful!
