Absolutely delicious. The Omikase menu is the perfect amount of food. Everything was done well, and the ice cream was the perfect finish.

We had the $59 set and added lots of items. The tempura is the best in town. Personally my favorites are mero sea bass and soft shell shrimp. Sea bass is so flavorful and it’s crispy outside and juicy and soft inside. Soft shell shrimp is sweet and the texture is fresh. The sauce is a little bit salty, but overall is great. The service is good too. But the restaurant is a small place and smells oily. Expensive but worth to try.

Really cool concept. Our server Daniel was outstanding! Very attentive and knowledgeable. The seaweed salad with arugula was our favorite part as it was so delicious and filled with great flavor. Some of the tempura options we loved and others were just ok. The avocado tempura was delicious and they have great sake.

Clean and fresh food, but the non-tempura dish leans on the heavier and richer side, perhaps trying to cater to the North Carolina taste. Also you have to have omesaka (either for $59 or $79) and add a la carte as needed.

Came for dinner and got the M Omakase. Every course was delicious. We also ordered hot green tea and a hot sake to go along with our meal. It was a bit too much food for me but for my husband it was perfect. I will order the smaller omakase next time. My favorite dish was actually the tuna tartare starter. That charred inari gives it amazing flavor. The maitake mushroom was probably my favorite tempura followed closely by the scallop. I’m amazed how every piece was cooked perfectly. That wagyu main dish with the ikura and the soy-cured yolk was out of this world. Those flavors blend so well together. I wish I had room to finish the dessert because the mango crepe cake is phenomenal. The service was good and the timing of the courses was perfect. Another great M restaurant!

The atmosphere and food was perfect for a date night. The first course of small dishes were delicious and there wasn’t a bite we didn’t like. The tempura course was light, crispy, and food was perfectly cooked. Overall, we can’t wait to go back to try their ramen!

Really fun and delicious dinner. We did the M Omakase and really enjoyed it and left feeling more than stuffed. Make reservations well in advance and reserve seating at the bar- then the tempura chef puts each piece directly on your plate in front of you (come out fresher than if you’re seated at a table).

My friend and I had a wonderful experience at M Tempura last night. We got the traditional style tasting menu and it was amazing. We got to sample so many different things that were all delicious. It was awesome to have one item brought out after another without having to make any decisions. Everything was freshly made with local and seasonal ingredients. The tempura items were so good as well as the fresh salmon crudo. The dessert was an amazing ginger ice cream. The only problem was that it was actually too much food. The staff were super friendly and attentive. We didn’t have to wait long for anything. I would recommend this place for a special occasion.

Loved the food here, and did not have a wait which was awesome too. Everything we had was very delicious and flavorful. Next time definitely want to try more of the tempuras. We only tried the scallops and it was amazing. The staff is extremely kind and pleasant. Would certainly be back!
