Beautiful flavors. Thoughtful preparation. Genuine service. Highly recommend if you are trying something new or if you have a craving for a Caribbean memory.

A small little mom and pop restaurant that serves authentic Dominican food. Food was delicious the service was great and personal. It’s the first time I’ve had Dominican food and I will definitely be back. I had the skirt steak with grilled shrimp and my daughter got the stew and my wife had oxtail. All was perfect

Quirky decor, clean (and clean bathrooms). “Chicken salad” was actually a regular salad with 2 grilled chicken breasts on it. Greens we’re very fresh, chicken was marinated, flavorful and tender. Italian dressing not home made. Goat stew was wonderful, meat very tender, served in a delicious sauce. Was rather salty (cooked w/olives, too). Very tasty red beans (altho few beans in sauce). Generous serving of rice which was good in both stew and beans. Even tho we were the only ones there food delivery was a bit slow. Friendly wait person. No water refills offered. Would definitely go to try some other dishes.

Being of Puerto Rican descent, I was raised knowing, cooking and eating true authentic Hispanic dishes. During my fist few visits to this place food was OK, not great. Quality has definitely went down hill. Who’s ever heard of reheated fried pork chunks, or bacon bits in a mofongo / plantain balls. Those you know true Latin cooking may agree that this food is now disgusting.

We went for Sunday buffet. I wish there were more vegetables but there were lots of meat options. There were different recipes of pork, steak, beef, chicken, and goat. All of the food tasted fantastic. We all left full.

Now named El Rincon del Mofongo. Delicious, flavorful meals with excellent service. Do yourself a favor and stop in. I stuffed myself and still had half to take home!
