GREAT FOOD!! This was our first time here and we loved it. I’m glad we found a good country style buffet near our house. The lunch price is pretty pricey 15 dollars a person eeek lol maybe thats just the price for lunch and dinner. Other than that it was great and the staff was kind plus our waitress kept our drinks filled.

I gave it 4 stars because the staff was great and attentive. However, I wasn’t that impressed with the food. I had the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, candy yams, macaroni pasta salad, and the pecan pie. The sweet tea was great!!

Very disappointed. I went in for lunch and got a plate to go with a small side salad. They weigh the food – which is fine – my dinner was 7 dollars and then she put the the three small salad dressing containers on the scale and made the cost 10 dollars. 3 dollars for salad dressing?! Come on now… I could see including 1 and charging 50 cents or so for any additional. The food was very bland. The restaurant was clean and it smelled good. But I will never go back

I don’t go to M & J’s Country Buffet as often as I would like to. But whenever I go there the food is fantastic the people are wonderful always a great atmosphere and I love eating there. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants a great sit down buffet dinner now only $10 per person,drinks come with your meal,just a wonderful place to dine.

The food is average. My Dad loves the all-you-can-eat fried catfish on Friday nights. The fish IS very good, as is the fried chicken and the other entree items that are cooked from scratch from frozen. The sides taste like most came from institution sized cans which is orobabky why they can keep the price per customer for the buffet below $10. They have a well-stocked salad and dessert bar which for me is their saving grace besides the catfish and fried chicken. If you pay by credit card, check your online statement for fraudulent charges made to your card. My father was notified today of fraudulent charges, and the only place where the card number could have been taken was at M&J’s since he hadn’t used the card anywhere emse and has a wallet that blocks electronic devices from stealing his info.

I come in to get real mashed potatoes because I love real mashed potatoes. Yesterday you did not have real mashed potatoes. A lady that worked there a while back ago told me that if y’all get busy and don’t have time to make them, you will put fake ones up. Yesterday was fake and you was not busy. People can tell the difference between them, if you don’t think they can. Please stop doing this.
