Today I stopped by for the fried okra. It was passable. I also decided to try the baked potato without meat. I got my order to go. Imagine my shock when the only pepper provided was one pack, looks like an eighth of an ounce. How can I eat the potato without seasoning? So sad. There was also the same amount of salt, I don’t add salt to my food.

This was just not good. It would be 1 star if it wasn’t for the cleanliness of the restaurant. When we came to celebrate our brother’s graduation, most of the food was cold and mediocre. They didn’t have the Texas twinkie’s that others had bragged about. They ran out of fries for the day. The banana pudding was just vanilla pudding. The spicy corn was the best thing that I tried. I won’t be returning. The service was nice though.

The food was good but not mind blowing, and the portions are massive. I had the half chicken plate with 2 sides (I couldn’t finish it) – myself and my partner could have most likely shared a half chicken and 1 baked potato.

This was our first time coming here, just trying different places. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Lots of room for large groups. The food was pretty good. We both ordered rib plates and the ribs were tender and had a light smoke ring so they were apparently smoked for a little while. The ranch beans were decently seasoned. The cole slaw tasted good but was slightly dry. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s a good place to go to if you live close by and want to grab something quick.

I worked over 20 years in this area, didn’t even know this places existed. Walked in, nice and clean place. Staff was very friendly and was acknowledged as soon as I walked in. Got a loaded bake potato with brisket. The smoked bacon wrapped jalapeños is a must try!! It food was very good! Will definitely return!

Solid good. Right in the sweet spot between firm and fall off the bone. Pleasing rub, simple but tasty, wonderful smoke flavor. Got rib special, 3 + 2 sides. More than ebough for lunch. Corn was not real spicy, but creamed consistency was delightful. Beans a touch al dente, but seasoned well. I put a little bbq sauce in them also. BTW, if you’re a sauce person, you will like this. Definitely a step up from commercial stuff. Overall, great value.

Ate at Lyndon’s twice this past week while in town on business. Had the pork plate and a jalapeño Sausage and Turkey plate. Both were excellent. The sides were fresh and delicious. I have eaten Turkey at quite a few BBQ places in AL, NC and now in TX and this was by far the best Turkey I have ever eaten; very moist and flavorful. Great place, highly recommend.
