Really enjoyed the flavors. The porridge is quite good. Lots of variety, lots to choose from. I am told this is very good Taiwanese food.

Many dishes to choose from and all you can eat porridge when dine in. Jasmine tea was awesome, and service was superb. $3 per person charged for the rice or porridge, though.

We were party of five and ordered 6 dishes and paid over $100… dishes were of small portion and just average. The restaurant pricing is way above its actual value. Later on we found out we were overcharged another dish but even with that for over 100 for five people you can find way better restaurants than this. We called the restaurant and they refused to refund the overcharge so I’ll contact credit card to dispute that charge.

Don’t go, it’s outrageously pricey. 2 small dishes for $35 at dinner, I don’t think so homey! These dishes are not gourmet but rather Chinese soul /home-style food that are abundantly available for 90% less in Asia. I dined out fairly frequent but this place robs you blind.

Love the food in LA and this place was no different. We got a lot of different veggies and meat dishes. They do a “lunchbox” style meal (choice of two or three options) with a complimentary side of congee (rice soup). The eggplant dish is always my favorite.

How can you hate such a cute little restaurant like this place? You see elderly people here and the workers themselves remind you of family members. Of course, might be a little bit of a struggle if you don’t speak mandarin, but that’s fine, the workers are very smiley. I loved every dish here, just wish I could’ve tried more. Had to take to-go cause my friend and I ordered too much. Love the porridge, feels so homey.

Very hard to find parking to eat in this restaurant. It is located in a small eatery places and they really have a limited parking lot. The food taste great but the portion are really too little for the prices that they charged. Customer service was good and the place is pretty clean

One of the old guards in a city full of new, hip, dare I say cookie cutter Chengdu style restaurants. Maybe I am feeling nostalgic, maybe because this style of eating resembles tapas or obsnzai, I really love it here. Turnover is so fast that everything tasted fresh. Is it expensive? That is subjective. For$11.99, I get to sample three distinctive dishes. I finished my lunch feeling completely full. For today’s did cost, I think Lu it’s a fair value.
