The salsa alone deserves 5 stars. No frills but amazing food. I ordered the fajitas and what a delight it was. Everything was fresh, well seasoned and they had a full bar with great selections.

Hipsters and yuppies beware. This is excellent food at great prices. All you tourists can stay on main road and leave this place for the smart ones. Best Mexican in 3 states. Chile Verde and El president tacos not to be missed.

This place is AH-MAZING!! Food is delicious and fresh! Service was excellent! Chips salsa and guac were perfection! Margarita was great! Loved the ability to build from À la carte menu to try different things. We had the carne asada tacos and pastor and both were delicious! Also had a chicken and enchilada and man it hit spot!! We finished it off with fried ice cream and we wobbled out! The ice cream had coconut and lots of whipped cream. We definitely 100% recommend! It is one of the top 3 restaurants we have experienced in the area. Coming in second only to Lone Eagle grill but tying with Burger me. We will for sure go back next time we are in the area!!

I used to love Lupitas for the past few years, but recently, I’ve noticed a decline in their quality. The chips don’t taste homemade anymore, and the salsa isn’t up to par either. While the food is still okay, I really miss the previous quality and homemade feel that used to be present on their menu. Hoping to see those improvements back in the future.

Could have been a great place, but it was lacking(literally—or maybe they ran out of meat???). My husband(Mexican who grew up eating Mexican food) and I visited this restaurant on 06/02/22 around 3:30pm. I ordered my usual beef and shrimp fajita, while my husband ordered their presidente taco with carne asada. When my husband’s taco arrived, I immediately wondered if his asada meat was on its way because his taco was overfilled with vegetables. Now, I love vegetables, but even I thought it was overkill to put 85% vegetables and 15% meat on his taco. Furthermore, his taco meat seemed like it had no seasoning, as if the meat was only grilled. Unfortunately, the lack of meat was also evident in my fajita. Everytime we go to a Mexican restaurant, I order fajita about 95% of the time. When my fajita arrives from other restaurants, the 1st thing I ALWAYS see is the sizzling meat in the middle of the skillet and it always looks and smells so delicious. Unfortunately, my (about $19) fajita from this restaurant was more of a veggieta. You literally have to dig through the pile of vegetables before you can find any meat. Also, the shrimp seemed like it was only boiled and not grilled and barely had any flavor. The pic with “fajita” is the “veggieta” that I received minus 2 meat pieces I’ve eaten(those 2 pieces are just a little bit bigger than a quarter). The other pic is my “veggieta” after all of beef pieces has been eaten. As you can see, there was probably less than 10% meat on my dish. Now, the fajita meat was very good. However, it’s a huge disappointment when I order a meat dish, but my dish arrives with barely any meat! If you come here, do yourself a favor and ask for your veggies on the side, maybe then they’ll give you more meat. Most Mexicans LOVE meat, it’s crazy how a Mexican restaurant could serve so little meat. We unfortunately won’t be coming back. Oh, rice and beans were pretty good, but again, the lack of meat completely ruined our experience to this place.

Food was okay. Nachos were below average and fried tacos were not good either.
