We were excited to try the hometown, nostalgic restaurant that everyone raves about but we were very disappointed. The food was fine, very basic and ordinary. The server, who may have been the owner, was rude! She had a rude, snarky comment anytime we asked a question. She spoke to us in a very condoscending manner. We will never eat there again!

This is one of the coolest small town diners I have ever been to. It’s nostalgic and local , with a phenomenal collection of metal lunch boxes! I saw a few I remember having as a child. The owner is courteous and a great chef!

The waitress/owner was not friendly

I enjoyed breakfast there. The food was tasty and at a good price. The dialogue between the owner and the cook was priceless. Any antiques collector might be interested in the many 60’s and 70’s era lunchboxes which adorn the walls.

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast. No fancy stuff here, just good homemade food. The owner/staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back for lunch, after hearing patrons talk about how good the daily specials are as well as the cake they had for dessert.

This place has totally homemade breakfast and lunch daily/MON to FRI in a fun and welcoming environment. Lots of regular customers. A blueplate special that changes daily. Been around at least 25 years which says it all. Bravo Patty!

The lunchbox has a throwback look decorated with vintage lunchboxes and pictures from local artists. The food is great and the cook is the nicest person you will ever meet. But don’t go there if you expect your butt kissed because the owner won’t do it. She is very Frank (and sometimes a little rude) and has no filter which is probably why her usuals keep coming back. It’s a whole different experience than your typical restaurant. They are open for breakfast and lunch.
