We have eaten here for 20+ years and never disappointed. Our favorites are on Friday. Fried catfish and shrimp stew. The potato salad is the best around town. Their BBQ sandwich is also delicious. Highly recommend

Would have given thus a 5, but by the time I arrived home from doing errands, my food was cold. My friend ordered the gumbo, which came in some very large bowls. I had the chicken tenders with curly q fries.

Our place of work regularly gives free plate lunch coupons to this restaurant as prizes for work well done. It has been my experience and that of several other coworkers that the food is good but the customer service is a little off. There’s a strange, “you’re not welcome” vibe if you’re skin color is brown or darker.

Living here in Lafayette since 2015 but being from Arkansas my taste buds were in for a shock. I love the food here but sometimes it’s a bit warm for me. The Lunchbox never disappoints my tastebuds. Seasoned just to perfection. I love this place and recommend it to anyone looking for a great home cooked meal!
