Didn’t expect it to be special when walking past en route to eating at another place. But I saw the Specials, especially the lobster roll with cup of chowder for $32, and thought, “I still haven’t had a lobster roll while in Maine.” Mental note.

Great spot for a good sandwich. I’m a CT lobster roll kind of person and their version was solid if not great. Very friendly service and a nice place to sit and eat. Very creative menu for those that don’t want lobster.

We had fantastic sandwiches here during a busy day of sightseeing. I overlooked my purse and left it behind, which I didn’t realize until we were home almost an hour away. They had already closed for the day, but the staff was so kind, and left a note on the door letting us know they had found it and were keeping it safe. Great food and good people – we will definitely be back.

We were looking for a quick lunch in town and stumbled upon this place. It was quick and amazing! Patrick was SO nice, the soup was amazing (my 3 year old said it was “mmm delicious!”, and the homemade salad dressing was incredible. We had a great lunch there and I would definitely recommend it.

What a wonderful find! Very unassuming looking spot that turned out to be a treasure! The fella working the counter (originally from Ireland) was an absolute delight! The food was fabulous! My husband and I shared a #2 Italian, an order of pasta salad, and a bowl of the beer cheese potato soup. All were top-notch delicious! We liked the #2 Italian so much that we ordered two more to go to eat on the road the next day for the drive home from Maine.

So glad we stopped for lunch here! I ordered the #3 Italian and my husband had the #5 panini. Honestly the best sandwich I have ever had in my life! The bread was seasoned so well and tasted fresh. The sandwich itself just hit every flavor perfectly. Patrick was very friendly and personable. He also had a great sense of humor. Definitely stop in at Lunch if you’re in the Bar Harbor area!!
