Tasty, fresh, and attentive food. The dishes are relatively simple, which makes them good for combining. My favorite was the shrimp curry because of the deeper flavor and more complex texture. The grilled squid was well cooked, but it could be more remarkable with deeper grilling.

Thai spot in surf shack setting focusing on light but flavorful seafood dishes. The flavors are well balanced and refreshingly citrusy. Highly recommend the calamari and papaya salad for appetizers, the whole fish, and make sure to save room for coconut-heavy desserts! Make reservations to avoid waiting during peak hours.

Reservation recommended We came on a Saturday afternoon with reservation and there was still some seats, but I know it would be full in rush hour.

This is definitely my favorite Thai place in the city. I’ve recommended it to all of my friends and it does not disappoint. You HAVE to get the steamed fish with Thai herbs. I’ve never had fish more flavorful. The sauce is to die for!!!!

LumLum had the goods! The staff is so welcoming and the food hit a home run. My partner and I went for a lovely dinner date and we will be coming back!

Came here before a Broadway show. Delicious casual Thai restaurant. Food is very flavorful & came out quickly. I would recommend a reservation as it doesn’t have a lot of seating- Within 30min the place was packed.

This definitely falls into the “overhyped” category for me.

Always busy except during the day on weekdays. Weekends after lunch is almost impossible to get a table for two or more without a reservation. I would’ve given a higher rating if I didn’t have to wait a while to be seated and I even had a reservation. We were at least seated by the window in front of the bar which was nicer than the corner table they originally were trying to seat us. Make sure your company are together and ready to go at reservation time so you can go in. Food was good and was a decent amount. One of the better Thai places in NYC.

I was finally able to try this spot and was not disappointed at all. This place always has a huge line to get in and I was curious to try it ever since they opened. The food was phenomenal! Everything was so tasty and came in decent sized portions. I loved the atmosphere and quick service of this place. I will definitely be back to this amazing spot!

Pad Thai (with shrimps) and Crying Tiger were spot-on! They had an eye-catching appearance and a rich taste. However for our dessert -mango sticky rice did not meet our expectations. It consisted of small slices of mango and a little bit too much sweet drizzle sauce on sticky rice, which resulted in an unbalanced taste, lacking the sweet and fruity sour essence of the dish as well chewiness of the rice. The restaurant had a compact space which was crowded inside but it had a warm and pleasant ambience. Sitting by the window provided better lighting. We truly appreciated the staff squeeze us in as we did not make a reservation. Attentive and friendly service!
