Sat outside on the patio and brought my two small dogs. Pet friendly place! I loved my veggie egg white omelette, super loaded with fresh spinach (not overly cooked and slimy/soft which I loved) and lots of other veggies. The hash browns were crispy and delicious, and the coffee was hot and my cup always kept full. Highly recommend while in town!

Staying in my RV in town this week and went into the Lumberjack Cafe for an early breakfast. The Omelette was huge and the service was great!

I ordered machaca and it was served with homemade salsa. The salsa is spicy and tasty, which goes very well with the meal.

Made a stop here on our way out of Big Bear. I ordered the eggs Benedict with hash browns and my partner order the chicken fried steak. He claims it was really good and enjoyed his meal. I personally thought the eggs Benedict was decent. It wasn’t the best I’ve had but the hash browns were uneatable I’m not sure why I didn’t like them but they had a flavor I couldn’t get past. Otherwise the service was great and I ate all of the eggs so it wasn’t a waste.

Breakfasts are tasty, and big, I like the variety, and the quickness, it is close to everything, highly recommended! Prices are good, inside is small, service is good. Parking spaces are limited but if you go around 11 then you should be fine.

Hubby and I spent a weekend in Big Bear and didn’t know anything about this place. We drove up Big Bear Blvd til we found something that sounded good and this is where we ended up. The parking is NOT great, especially if they’re busy. Lucky for us, we got there just before the breakfast rush came it. I ordered the scramble with sausage and a side of waffle. My hubby ordered the chicken fried steak, log potatoes and egg over hard. Let’s just say we were both pleasantly surprised. The food was really good and the portions were good size too! From the outside, it didn’t look like much. Even when we walked in, there was nothing fancy about it. Kinda felt like I just stepped into an old Aunty’s house where nothing matched, everything looked super old and yet, it was still cozy & inviting. But wait, I forgot to mention our waitress…I forgot her name but she knew her stuff. She was very efficient, memorized our order and was quick to answer any questions.

I was pleasantly surprised that we were just able to drive up and get a parking spot – I think rush hour was over. We sat outside because we had our dog with us. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly.
