My wife and come to lulus often. We like having a local spot but everytime I call the employees put me on hold and forget about us. So we started coming in and having a drink while we wait. The last few times we waited an hours for our food, we understand they are busy weve both worked service industry but we notice we keep getting passed up by other people. I asked an employee about our pizza and he said it was almost up. 20 min go by and still nothing I ask a second time and he realizes they didn’t have a ticket. I mention this and they glaze over it. No compensation nothing but a smile and I’m sorry. We’ve decided to stop going to lulus it’s really gotten to a point where we feel mistreated and like our disappointment wasn’t even worth their time.

Lulu’s was great. Loved sitting on the patio, food was excellent. Wife had sushi, daughter had a big salad, I had a chicken Caesar. Staff was friendly. Couple downsides: with counter service it’s a pain just to grab another beer. And the outside chairs kind of suck. That’s small potatoes though. Definitely going back.

Sushi bar closed early for reasons unknown. I asked the sushi chef why they closed and he was very vague and seemed bothered that I asked. We ordered a NY style pepperoni pizza which was good. However, everything in the restaurant seemed sticky and unwashed. Tables were left unserviced and the bathrooms were in desperate need of attention. There was a lot of unbussed dishes in the dirty bins. The self-service water station was out and was refilled when we were about to leave. Overall, decent pizza but a sloppy establishment.

This is my absolute favorite pizza. 2 giant slices and a soda for 7 bucks? Yes please! The people who work there are high quality individuals and they make the best NY style I’ve had in Idaho. Wish there was a Lulu’s in Nampa, for that reason I always stop in for lunch whenever I’m nearby. Try the popper if you like a little spicy, but not too much. It’s amazing!

Very chill, very bizarre…serving pizza & sushi under the same roof. But both are exceptional. You’d never know that this little Boise area would have one of the best of both worlds tucked in a small commercial (Highlands Village) area in the middle of a sleepy residential town near the University. Pizzas, by the slice or medium/large, rival that of big cities, with nice tangy tomato sauce to cheesy ratio on top of chewy crust you can eat on its own. (They go well with bountiful salads here too.) Sushi is impeccably made, inventive too (spicy rolls with bell pepper & jalapeno), all of your favorites. Staff is equally cool, laid-back & nice.
