Me and my wife came here off a social media post we saw a couple weeks ago from the owners daughter (I believe). We’ve been having bad luck with restaurants lately so we started cooking at home to avoid disappointment, but we wanted a break from cooking so although hesitant, decided to try something new. We went on a Wednesday night, had strawberry margarita, spinach dip, wings (hot honey), lamb chops with a side of mash and macaroni, and brownie with ice cream for dessert; I was pleasantly surprised that and everything was delicious!!! This is probably the best food I’ve had in Charlotte after living here for almost 3 years. The menu doesn’t have a lot of options but I can safely say the options that are presented are perfected which I wish more restaurants would adapt the concept of. I wish they had more wet options for the wings instead of the dry rub but that is just a personal preference and the hot honey didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere was great, music was a vibe (especially when the saxophone player blessed the mic) the staff is friendly. We arrived a little after 7 and it was maybe 30% capacity and by 9 they were at 100% for seating so you may want to get there a little earlier to avoid a possible wait. I’m not sure if the outside opens when the weather is warmer or maybe when they have the staff to cover it, but outside seating was not available when we went which makes sense because it was breezy out. All and all 10/10 we’ll be back for brunch. I pray they stay consistent and wish them all the success. To be only open for a little over a month, they’re definitely setting a great example for quality. Just look at the pictures

I’ve been asking for more BRUNCH spots in Charlotte. Well here’s a new Black-Owned restaurant in Charlotte. They have only been open a few weeks but have already mastered a Deluxe brunch menu with all the top favorites from classic chicken & waffles to shrimp & grits.

Dined in for Sunday brunch with my sister and had a great overall experience. I had the chicken waffles and my sister had the shrimp and grits. Wings were a good size and perfectly seasoned. My waffles were cold which leads me to believe they were in the window waiting for my chicken to finish as the wings were steaming hot. Our waitress was happy to replace them with fresh ones quickly so I could enjoy my meal.

Went to brunch with friends for my 23rd birthday, no wait time just good drinks, food & vibes ! We had an amazing server named Tiffany , she was really sweet & very helpful with us figuring out what to choose on the menu. Everything that came to the table was correct & came in a timely manner. Tiffany smiled the entire time she served us, no matter how many questions or request we had she was on top of everything I will be back because of her ❤️

Other than the music being too loud and Salmon overcooked everything else was great. I would like regular waffles with no cinnamon but that’s just my preference? And different options like red velvet and blueberry pancakes

If you’re going on the weekend, MAKE RESERVATIONS! We were lucky to be seated maybe 5 mins after we arrived but the walk ins had to wait at least 45 mins to an hour to be seated.

LulaBelles is lit! Excellent service! Immediately greeted when I walked in, sat down, served water. 1 waitress came over,but I assume they had other tables, so the beautiful “Isis like the Flower” became our waitress and she was sooo sweet. The GM came and introduced herself, other servers helped out and ensured we were good, and overall, really good staff. We ordered our all time favorite (no matter where we go lol) a strawberry long Island. Baby that thang was lonnnnng too!!! Nice and strong, perfectly paired with our dinner experiences. I had the salmon with broccolini and mashed potatoes, all was super good. My sis had the steak. We also had the spinach dip, which was good too. Music was on point, ambiance was super cute, definitely will be back. I came from Ohio passing through. I found it on the owners daughter’s tik tok! So knowing the history of the story and the restaurant paying homage to her grandmother,was an added touch that made me want to check it out. Keep up the great service. Happy,smiling,polite black people is KEY to amazing service and repeated customers! Highly recommend

The environment was okay… the steak was over cooked. I paid a service fee for $2.45 and paid with cash. I hate automatic gratuities. I ate alone and spent $62.00 on the meal. Plus left a $10.00 tip. It was okay but I won’t be returning. $72.00 for brunch? Lmao

Lulabelles is become one or my favorite spots in Charlotte. From the food, to the service, the atmosphere a drinks all excellent. I’ve come on two occasions with rather large parties (6+ guests) and times we were served by Tiffany. Outstanding! To say the least. She dealt with our many personalities, ensured that our orders were correct and made sure we got everything we needed. Best server ever! So much so that we request her whenever we go!
