I went there yesterday for lunch and asked for a recommendation. The classic lobster roll tastes super fresh and delicious and was filled with plenty of lobster (even though I ordered a small one). I also enjoyed the clam chowder, which I’ve never tried before (I’m from Europe, only used to bouillabaisse). Great place!

What a little gem this spot is. We popped in on a Saturday for lunch, spur of the moment. The cashier was so polite and bubbly. She made recommendations, explained the menu thoroughly, chatted with us. She is so incredibly friendly. The lobster roll is on point. SO MUCH MEAT! Did not disappoint, I highly recommend.

Usually great. Friendly staff who make you feel welcome and prepare and serve great food. Last visit was different. No one was at the register when I first arrived. After just a bit, the guy shows up and says he’s closing in 5 minutes and what did I want and then repeated himself. Then he ran off and got my order wrong. When he said he was closing in 5 minutes, I checked my watch, 7:52, so it was close to that time but there were other people there. I ate fast and was out before they were. I have say that this was exceptional and that usually everyone is very nice and they get the order right. The woman preparing the food was very nice, even nicer than usual for this location.

I did take out and delivery. Both times the food was disappointing. I just ordered two lobster rolls and they were both very cold. I also ordered the Mac and lobster which was hot but the lobster in it was disgusting. It was chalky in flavor and texture. Save your money.

I recently tried Luke’s Lobster after seeing good reviews. The lobster roll exceeded my expectations—small in size but bursting with flavor. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered another roll and added a Dungeness crab roll the next day. Both were equally delicious. Wow! The food here is delicious. We started with 2 lobster rolls with the coleslaw and lobster mac n cheese. They were so good. We enjoyed the food so much, we ended up ordering a crab roll before leaving, absolutely worth it.

This lobster roll was the best thing I ate this last trip to NYC in Sept. 2022! Fresh lobster and plenty of it. The have a little blackboard where they write the source of the lobster daily. It’s a tiny place. Prices are high but it was so good, I felt it was worth it. Would recommend if you’re looking for a simple delicious lobster roll.
