Tried Luigi’s last night and wasn’t fully impressed. The atmosphere was cute. The staff was wonderful. We did not have reservations (did not realize) but they still sat us to dine in. So I am grateful for that! Overall, the place is cute and fun with a great comfy and warm vibe.

I can’t believe this place is this highly rated, it was awful. I went here for my birthday and it was terrible. The garlic cheese sauce tasted like flour and pepper and had no other taste whatsoever. ( no garlic, no cheese, no onion, etc) There’s no way it had any cheese in it, which is appalling considering cheese is in the name. The spaghetti with meat sauce was boring and very dry. There’s no way any of the pasta was homemade. One person in our party waited 90 min for his pizza, everyone else had already finished and it tasted like frozen pizza crust. My husband was sick from his chicken Parmesan and spent the entire next day in the bathroom. The waitress did her best but this food was awful. Hospitals have better food. AVOID AVOID AVOID

1st, best to make a reservation. Waitress was fun, the food was not, no party in my mouth with any of the food. I enjoyed the bread and butter. The salad was sad in a small bowl. 1 mushroom, 2 rings red onions, 2 pieces of celery and 2 pieces of small ton of blue cheese on top of a soaked salad. My manicotti, oh no was like just creamy mixture of sauces, the noodles to soft along w everything in it was no texture what so ever. The little 8$ was ok. My first and last time to visit sad to say. I was hot and stuffy. Be aware going to the bathroom floor slants downward.

The food was good and well prepared. Prices were good. The food was purely American Italian and not authentic Italian. Nonetheless, it was very flavorful. Server was very attentive. Only issue is that they won’t split bills. We frequently dine out with another couple(s). So it was somewhat difficult. If most other restaurants can do this, they should also.

I am ecstatic we found this little gem and they were able to get us in with a pretty last minute reservation due to a cancellation. The food, service, and atmosphere are absolutely fantastic. I had no idea there could be so much love in food not cooked at home before eating at this restaurant. You genuinely feel as if you just sat down to a family dinner and then they blow your mind with home cooking. We did not have a single dish that wasn’t absolutely delicious, but I especially recommend the lasagna and ravioli with meat sauce for some of the best pasta and sauce you’ll ever eat. THANK YOU for an incredible dinner and service, Luigi’s!

Didn’t even eat here because we were told there was an “EXTREMELY” long wait because we didn’t have a reservation. When we walked in none of the staff acknowledged us for at least 10 minutes although they were walking directly past the hostess desk multiple times. We were one of 2 tiny groups standing in the entry (just 3 in our party). We got the vibe we weren’t welcome and after telling us about the wait the hostess said nobody in the dining room even has salads.

The menu claims the pasta is house- made, which does seem accurate. Unfortunately, there is little to no skill or finesse; the pasta itself was thick, bland, and unappetizing. Store bought would have been an absolute improvement. The sauces tasted pretty flavorless, and the marinara was way too watery. Overall, it was extremely disappointing. I would much prefer boiling myself a box of Barilla and microwaving some jarred sauce.

This place has a classic old time, family feel to it. Very sketchy part of town. Staff is very friendly. Ingredients were high quality. I felt the lasagna was a little soupy. The ravioli noodles are exquisite…however, not a fan of the meat combination of Turkey, beef, and pork inside the ravioli. Generous amount of bleu cheese crumbles on the salad. Kids pizza crust a little soft for tavern style pizza.
