Lucy’s Tacos was as complete an experience as you’ll get from a food truck. Service was prompt and friendly. I like that there is an indoor climate controlled dining room adjacent to the food truck, in addition to outdoor seating. I can tell this place is a local favorite in La Junta. I was lucky to arrive just before a long line formed for the lunch rush.

Lucy’s Tacos is very clearly a community staple for La Junta. I ordered the carnitas tacos, which were pretty tasty. They weren’t the best tacos I’ve ever had, but they were good and the service was even better.

Awesome taco truck worth stopping for. Got a asada torta, and taco. The torta bread was phenomenal, I’m very glad to have stopped here on the way through. Classic taco truck affair with outdoor picnic benches as well as an indoor seatingg area that I did not check out

Go to mas que taco in rocky ford. The portions are much bigger and better priced. This chicken torta was 8 dollars after tax. Its half the size of the torta served at mas que tacos.

It’s the Best Mexican food we’ve had in the tri-state area! They’re super fast and the folks who run this stand are so nice! There are picnic tables outside to accommodate diners when the weather’s nice. Whether you’re looking for a quick meal or want to sit down and have an authentic Mexican plate, you can’t beat Lucy’s!
